Spotluck Launch Party at Uptown Beer Garden
. @Spotluck Launch Party at @UptwnBeerGarden on Thursday, August 25
Before June 2016, there was only one green flowing through the veins of Philadelphia – a dark, “midnight” green for its beloved football team. In June, the city struck another green. Spotluck comes to Philly - 6/22/16
I had the privilege of attending the VIP launch dinner party at Vesper for Spotluck! Just to give you some info on what and who Spotluck is, it’s a dining community through an app that gives you many deals on local restaurants. They are originally based in DC and have expanded into many cities around the US including Philadelphia. In Philly alone, Spotluck is partnered with over 100 restaurants already! That’s quite impressive! They pretty much have software through the app which show the fluctuation of prices in local restaurants and try to increase traffic during slow times by offering great deals.
Here's a large replica of what the wheel on the Spotluck app looks like....
Here's me and Lauren! She works on the marketing team as the User Community Manager. Huge thanks to her for allowing me to be apart of this event. I was extremely happy to be apart of it!
From what I took from this dinner, Spotluck totally has great potential in Philly. It’s user friendly, you’re able to view restaurant menus, you can view food pics posted from other Spotluck users, you get great deals and you can have fun spinning that good ol’ Spotluck Wheel! I recommend this app to anyone who loves dining out and to anyone who loves a deal. Check it out, it’s totally worth it….
