If Spotsverse characters had Zanpakutos.
I was rewatching Bleach and had the most idiotic idea ever: which zanpakutos would fit characters from the Spotsverse?
Here's what I came up with so far:
Rue/Jester: Sode no Shirayuki (Rukia Kuchiki's Shikai)
Rue kind of strikes me as the kind of person who could potentially wield ice powers, and Sode no Shiraayuki would be the perfect Zanpakuto for her (Sorry, Hyorinamaru, but you didn't make the cut). Plus, its Bankai state, Hakka no Togame, would make her enemies freeze in their tracks (pun intended) if they saw how even more amazing she became if she used it.
Henri/Lord Spots: Senbonzakura (Byakuya Kuchiki's Shikai)
I think Henri would actually look badass while using it. Think about it: the sword dissolves into a thousand tiny, slender blades. They fly away from the handle, leaving the latter in Henri's hand. The blades of Senbonzakura are too small and swift to be seen for what they truly are, and because they reflect light, they bear a resemblance to cherry blossom petals to the naked eye. When he swings the handle, Henri controls the scattered blades. It enables Henri to shred opponents from a distance, destroy structures, and break through almost any defense.
Elodie/Crimson Dame: Shinso (Gin Ichimaru's Shikai)
She could simply point and have it extend long enough to hit any target she wants. Best of all, she has an edge if she ever decides to use Bankai, because Kamishini-no-yari doesn't change all that much in appearance, but its effectiveness is without question, as in the Bankai state, it can now stretch to 13 kilometers at 500 times the speed of sound, with its true ability being abke to turn into dust for a brief instant, leaving a small piece inside her opponents, and infect them with a poison that dissolves their cells rapidly.
She deserves to have this zanpukato because she needs to be cut a break.
Nico/Novius: Kyoka Suigetsu (Sosuke Aizen's Shikai)
This one was tough. At first, I wanted to give him Sakanade, which works similarly but instead inverts your sense of direction, where up is down, right is left, etc. But then I thought about how some Soul Reapers hate their Zanpakuto's powers, and considering Nico's own nonexistent relationship with his mother, he would probably be hesitant to use a Zanpakuto that can mess with people's five senses, which would remind Nico of lying too much. But then I remembered that Nico's whole character arc is about overcoming being in Lila's shadow, so he would actually try using it to somehow help his friends.
Camilla/Scarlatta: Sōgyo no Kotowari (Jushiro Ukitake's Shikai)
Because using an Uno Reverse on your opponent's attacks is always funny and cool.
But seriously, though, the reason Camilla has this is that I feel she would be the only one who would be able to use it properly.
Camilla strikes me as one of those people who do Aikido as a means of disciplining herself.
