Introduction
A first post just like a newly hatched turtle checking out their new surroundings is terrifying! But I suppose I should give a brief introduction of who I am, and what this blog is about. I am a junior at SUNY Brockport where I am pursuing a BS in Environmental Science with a focus on Wetlands Ecology.
This blog is mostly dedicated to how to identify and recognize the herps that are found in the eastern part of the United States, by both sight and by call. I will be making posts throughout the herping season with animals that I find, along with tips on where and how to find those that I encounter. Beyond this I will also post photos of wetlands that I visit. I hope you'll choose to follow me, and if you have anything to add to any of the posts that I make feel free to do so. If you have any questions related to herps or wetlands feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks for reading and I hope you'll choose to follow me, and as always happy herping.
