A very bullsnake-heavy day yesterday! Scooped one off the road that was coiled up trying to sun there, and then had a second one spook my horse while riding (we must have passed over it or too close nearby).

I got a good video of that second one doing its hissing threat display.

Tried posting this the other day but the internet was being wonky xwx FAIRLY certain this fellow is a juvenile 5 lined skink (mainly say the juvi part cause ive seen a much much bigger one, but online they are actually mainly shown to be this size??)

This pool wasn't supposed to be filled yet as I'm using it for a project that requires a few more materials before being filled, but alas the rain/wind said "nah, pomd" I did add a ramp for any other friends who fell in, but it has been drained now :3

I can't wait to do my actual project though.. I need to get some commissions first though xwx BUT I WILL SHARE ONCE IT IS DONE !!

I'm getting real tired of nature and animal lovers moralizing nature and wildlife and how other people use nature. Especially when it goes completely against current research or when there's no research to back up their stance.

Grey herons. Also an eggshell, kicked out of the nest. Majestic birds, can fly sideways.
