 The Spouse Visa extension is designed for non-EEA residents who have been living in the UK under a Spouse Visa. The Spouse Visa extension can be applied for before your Spouse Visa is due to expire. It enables a person to live in the UK for a further 30 months.  The requirement to extend your leave is similar to the Spouse Visa.  However, you will have to prove that you are in a subsisting relationship with your spouse and you have been cohabiting together as a spouse.
