But then there is a point of stupidity." - @sheriatwood • • The best investors are the one who give you the least grief. They get IT (concept) right away. • • She spoke with 240 investors to reach approx $7 million in investments. • • It's not just about the money. Choose investors for the connections. • • People get excited to join a startup until they realize how much work is involved. Then they jump ship. • • Money, resources and people attracted @sheriatwood to Sacramento. • • There is a difference between growth and revenue. Focus on revenue! Words of advice: turn on revenue sooner. Even if you grow slow/small. You'll know if people will buy your product/service. She is a former animator of the indie game Outer Wilds, which has won two International Games Festival awards for Excellence in Design and the Seumas McNally grand prize.
