Learn German and English with Maria on italki

@polysprachig here. As some of you may know, I teach one-on-one lessons to German and English learners and have been doing so for a while. I’ve met with many students who are head over heels for reading and writing in their target language - and to be honest: s a m e! The only problem is that reading - and reading in a foreign language at that - tends to be rushed in schools, with students not having the chance to really explore a story, article, or some other written piece as much as they would like to given the time frame they have to study it and, in the case of self-learners, reading often gets put in a corner due to lack of time, motivation, and/or miscellaneous life stuff.
For this reason I’ve decided to specifically offer reading/writing-centred classes for B1-C2 level students in both German and English (in addition to the standard Introduction to German A1/A2, of course).
