My mum lives in Zambia and i live in Sweden so i call her on Watsapp and talk everyday.the other day, i asked if i could talk to Asiya,a relative (who had a mental condition)I had not seen or talked to her for a minute, she gave her the phone and we talked a little and at the end of the conversation ,i promised to send her some money (she did not ask for anything), she thanked me and said ”mungu aku chunge’ which translates to ’ may God protect you’ i became emotional when she said that, when mom got back on the phone , she was so happy and said that was an amazing gesture, just asking to speak to her makes her feel loved ,remembered and wanted , and then I heard mum murmur to herself, she was making a dua/prayer in somali ,she said, ’ hooyo dhaadka aad kafarxisaa, ilaahay ha kaa farxiyo aadna’ which translates to’ you bring happiness to people, may Allah make you happy’ and repeated it 3*. I live for my mother’s happiness and i adore her❤️Today i got a call from my boss and She informed me that i got a big ass raise ! I was so happy, i got on watsapp and called mum, my sister but they didnt pick up, (we all live in different continents, hence different time zones)i called my brother and told him the good news,he responded”remember hoyo’s dua( mum’s prayer) God has brought you happiness”I didn’t think about it that way until he said it,SubhanAllah! this brought me such joy❤️
