Sometimes when I sit and think about the history of my people...it makes me so sad because I understand we came from royalty...Kings & Queens ripped from our heritage and systematically programmed to believe we are less and not worthy. It's sad that in 2016 a white person can get 6 months for a guilty rape charge but a black boy can get killed for absolutely nothing and the law permits. It's so pathetic...disgusting. I've come to realize that we are in a real live war, a genocide, a system that wants an entire race and history erased. I say all of that to say this, when you think about making a change in the world, it seems like such a burden...an impossible mission. But I have come to peace knowing that changing the lives around me IS changing the world. Every little bit counts #spreadlove #spreadunity #togetherness #weareone 🙏🏾✊🏾❤️
