            She’s desperate and it hurts. Natalia stares at the man in front of her, finding no warmth behind his eyes. He just stands there blinking back at her. “Jake, please y-you have to listen to me.” Her voice is near cracking and her eyes are tearing up.

                        “ I’m Natalia. We were, are, we’re married. We have kids, please, you have to remember. Jake please, love. ” Tears are already brimming in her eyes and the woman can’t help it. She leans up pressing her lips to his, but there’s nothing there. Blonde curls bob as she pulls away, a knot in her chest tightening.

                         Natalia was sat up, slow, careful fingers tracing the scars that adorned his skin. It wasn’t the first time she had done this, something about them intrigued her, but they also made her worry. Nonetheless, he was asleep, or so she thought. She was surprised at the eyes that met her own. 

                              A faint blush creeping across her cheeks as she glanced down, ashamedly perhaps. However, a small smile crept onto her face as she leaned down kissing his forehead. “ Jake, I don’t think they’re ugly. I just...I worry about you. We’ve been through a lot, love. “

Damon and Dimitri

1. Dimitri nearly calls Damon Dad way more often then he’d like to admit. He likes him a lot better than his real father who never really paid much mind to him, especially when he was young.

2.Damon often gives Dimitri pointers on how to use a gun or how to deal with people. He even helps Dimitri attempt to reconcile with his “wife” who Damon hates so much 

3. Damon and Dimitri will often go drinking. Dimitri always insisting on paying, much to Damon’s distaste. They’ll even take Felix along sometimes if they’re in a good enough mood. It’s like a weird family trip.

4. Dimitri often confides things in Damon he wouldn’t tell anyone else, not even his beloved mother.

         The girl hummed to herself as her blonde curls bobbed up and down, shining in the spring sunlight. People stayed out of her way as she walked down the street, heavy boots thumping against the sidewalk. In her arm were two of many books, she carried with her. A subtle escape from the lack of escapades in the mundane town.

             Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a familiar car, pulling up to the sidewalk, leading her to stop in her tracks. A smile nearly peeking through as she glanced at the car’s inhabitant,
