my shirt bleaching turned out pretty well! i wish the shirt was a darker blue so there would be a greater contrast, but this was just a shirt i had lying around. there was minimal ripping-much better than i feared. also, the entire bleaching time was way shorter than i expected-at the longest, 1.5 hours, a much shorter period than the overnight wait i read about.

next, i'm hoping i can find a leather jacket and another denim shirt/jacket i can mix up. or, i may just pay a visit to the leather store and check out prices.
