In our family, my grandma used to make my brother and I a "Spring Tonic" which was simply molasses stirred into warm milk. From what I remember we only had it once or twice when it was Spring but never the rest of the year.
Does anyone else do this? She's never explained why and we just sort of accepted it. I'm just now realizing how unusual it is? Is this something traditional?
Regardless, it's tasty and a nice change from cocoa if you're craving something sweet and warm. I've also never craved it outside of Spring?
