"A flaw in the head."
"Huhuhu... The buildings here are so cool, I never understood why humans were swinging on that piece of wood tied with a rope, but it's really fun!"
"I wish I could have stayed longer... but those angels had to be hiding and attack me... ahh, they ruined all my fun-"
"Oh! That thing looks like a dog! Is that intentional?"
"Huhuhu! Is the human who owned this toy still alive? Otherwise, I think it's fine if I take it for myself, ah! Look at that fountain! It's still spouting water even though it's broken!"
"It's so much fun here—Wait!"
"How much time has passed?"
"Shit... JASON!!"
"How did Jaron cut off his own arm"
Putting a cut so I don't have to scroll through this whole thing every time I look through my blog
TLDR Cleaver scythes make me (a martial artist) angry because they don't make sense
But at least I doodled Tanith!
The White Cleaver vs. a normal Cleaver: who looks better?
Think they are my new favourite thing to draw.
In honour of me finally becoming a Monster Hunter in Fallen London, a peligin-eyed predator with a bony harpoon at my side, I wanted to make a ttrpg character.
I think Fallen London itself either already has or will shortly have a ttrpg? I feel like I’ve heard that. But since I don’t have that ttrpg (yet), we’ll have to look elsewhere. And. What character class in what other ttrpg feels like a Fallen London monster hunter? Specifically, as I got my specialisation last night also, a teratomancer. A butcher-haruspex, an expert in dread anatomy.
Obviously, the answer is a Heart The City Beneath cleaver. Heh. Let’s get bloody over here.
HEART CHARACTER SHEET
Name: Peligna, the Butcher-Haruspex
Immreading skulduggery Pleasant for ghe first time and im on the 4th book rn, and something that is deeply unsettling for me is:
WHO AND WHAT ARE THE CLEAVERS???? they apparently have consciousness, their own mond to think and PAIN but are diligent enough to obey every order they're given no matter the situation so are they being controlled? Are they human? Probably not since they're so strong but what are they?! Is there ever an answer for that?
Are they just slavered and mind-controlled? It doesn't make sense!
This bothered me since the first time ive read about them. I have a lot of questions and im concerned about the ethical implications here.
LIKE HELP??!???!???
I harvested broccoli and some of its leaves today also. I also plucked some of my last sugar snap pea pods. I'll pull up all the broccoli soon.
My yard hasn't been cut, so I have cleavers (Galium aparine) growing wild all over. I gathered some to make an herbal tea for spring cleansing 🌿.
