Shoved in a tiny Nissan compact with too many kids and too many dogs. Coming down off Adderall and we can't smoke in the car, but we're on our way to akron and back on route so that's good. Two weeks with just Otis and my accordion will be fun (gearless and fearless I guess?) but I'll be able to start hopping back west about a week sooner and I just want to heading up that damn mountain already. Ryan called last night on the way to the show to remind me it's time to change shit up again, and I am. It's different this time, not different like the last few times I actually said 'okay Ryan, quiting life let's go', but maybe something actually feasible. He wants to get a house far East, maybe Philly or Pittsburgh. A big house for real cheap with a good group of friends he already has picked out and are down to go in. Somewhere we'd be free to call homebase while we tour and travel. It's different in another way too. It's not just the same 'quit what you got let's go on a poorly put together perma-tour'. Maybe he gets that I'm serious about Summer, but he made sure that his plan included the both us. Too many things happening non-stop since I hitched in to Michigan. I hope I haven't wandered to far this time and I feel like everything I have is teetering on the edge. I don't know what to do about any of it right now. Just keep moving.
