GENERATION ONE ~ Episode 6
A lot can happen in five years,
...but not much in the Schrieber Family. Seth and Mark are settled into a routine so to speak, and are growing still closer everyday. Raising Jackson has not been too much of a challenge once he made amends with his father and dealt with the loss of Corrine. This is his last year of High School and planning on attending Foxbury in the Fall.
Seth and Mark have been discussing having a child of their own, but obstacles keep getting in the way. Neither want to do the artificial womb and carry it themselves, and then finding someone to carry a child has been difficult, as they do not have that many close female friends or family.
However, there has been a new addition to the family so to speak. About a year ago, Mark found out that his mother had a baby before she was married to his father, while in high school. The man was someone she met in town one night who was home on military leave.. Mark’s grandmother knowing a baby at such a young age was too difficult for her daughter made her give up her newborn daughter to the father and his family. She was raised by her father, George Cahill. Yes, that George Cahill, in Strangetown. Recently she was finally told who her mother was, and she went looking and found her. She also found a little brother she didn’t know she had, Mark Mark’s older sister just happens to be the newest and biggest sensation in Country Music, Roxie Cahill, and she is staying with Seth and Mark while she is in town, during a hiatus!
Ian and Daniel are living together and planning a wedding soon, and Penny and Kelvin are married and have a two year old daughter, Delaney. Enoch is still sober and doing quite well for himself. He and Hailey are now married and the owners of the Schrieber home, paying off the loan to Seth and his mother. He and Hailey had another child as well, a son, Caleb Albert. Hailey now works at Seth’s Vet clinic as the Receptionist/Secretary and Enoch is selling insurance. Seth and Enoch’s mother was diagnosed with dementia and she has gotten progressively worse in the last two years, so the brothers had her put into a specialized extended care adult center, where she is thriving and doing very well.
Mark’s father and step-mother still live in Brindleton, and his half-brother Gabe and Jackson have become the best of friends and big High School football stars.
And, fortunately Jake Bowing is still in jail serving out a 25 year sentence.
