ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2026!

hi guys, long time no see! i apologize for my absence and neglect of this comic, hopefully this decision will change that!

so, obviously, i've not been very interested or motivated to continue making the springclan comic. i've been incredibly unhappy with what i have for it so far, and i think the story is due for a bunch of big changes. i went into springclan with absolutely no planning whatsoever, only going off what the game gave me. losing the save for the clan also hindered me as it made me lose a lot of motivation to continue.

i've considered canceling the comic altogether. but i really don't want to. bloompelt and henberry have grown very near and dear to my heart, and i'd hate for their story to go unfinished. so for 2026, i am going to reboot the comic!

what does this mean? you might be wondering. first of all, i'll be redesigning the characters. mostly everyone who's been introduced so far will be staying in the story, anyone in the old save who joined the clan is honestly on the chopping block right now lol. there will be some renaming of characters as well (say goodbye to stinky)

the comic will still follow the usual clangen comic format ("chapters" being "moons" and whatnot), however keep in mind that this rewrite will, for the most part, not be aided by clangen. in the beginning, i intend for most of the main stuff to stay the same, but for simplicity's sake, anything in the original comic is now considered not canon.

i do not have an exact time for when the comic will return, but i want to try to get it out by mid-late january or sometime in february.
