for little ol’ snowdin, That place is now dubbed SPRINGDIN! This place is constantly being showered in cherryblossoms like in a anime! ALPHYS loves this place and visits it alot, especially when her trainee SANS is there! The spider dinner is the most popular restaurant in the underground, probably because its the only one but w/e. And instead of celebrating Christmas they celebrate Easter, due to the monster who hides likes their eggs about, these eggs are found by monsters and cooked up by them. THE EASTER BUNNY is toriel, and every year she comes down to do a little event for everyone. She has the guards hide eggs that have awesome goodies in them. some times people never find them all so then they are left until CHARA comes around and finds the cleverly placed eggs. There still is the Inn and a shop, the inn lets you sleep their for a small cost and you sleep for a good amount of time there(so no noisy sleepers in the other room). the shop keeper is also very cheap and very sad as their shop is going out of business, thanks to the spider dinner. (If you buy over a 5 hundred dollars worth of products; their business at the end will still be around. if not, the spiders will buy out the building and change it into a spider house, a home to all the spider workers. The hotel person will also be loosing business thanks to spiders getting inside their Inn and scaring out the customers. The old shopkeeper will be laying by some trees and will tell you they lost everything)
Instead of the cool and wet place known as waterfall, how about a place that is hot and sandy. Sandfalls or desertfalls! its home to the mysterious ghost called mettablook/hapstablook(?), its also home to the GUARD HOUSE. It looks like a large skull(Its in place of undynes house.) Alphys doesn’t live there because she rather be in springdin or next to her BFF, undyne in WETLANDS! Sand falls down from the top of the cave, it slowly fills the ground below, as underneath the sand is water passing under that sweeps it away. The dump still remains the dump but here is where you have to be careful because its lower to the water passing under neath everything. the sand is wet and unstable. There also is a empty version of the snail farms next to mettablook’s house. Mettablook isn’t good at keeping the animals alive or keeping them from escaping.
Instead of Hot lands how about wetlands! Where the lava is now a endless ocean, its cold and damp. this place supplies the water that allows you to travel place to place with the riverboat person/ Duckboat! The platform you walk across sometimes has waves that can push you off. and other times the water level can high and it will be around 4ft deep. There is a hot coco machine in wetlands that allow you to drink something hot if you are getting cold (which will definitely happen), It was put their by dr. undyne to keep alphys from being too cold. The lab has stairs up to the door because of how high the water can get, nobody wants to work in a flooded lab! As for whats in the lab, The bottom part stays as it is except alot of the equipment is waterproof. The upper part of the lab is like a little place where alphys and undyne hangout and sleep, there is a big couch/bed up there, infront of the couch is a coffee table that is normally covered in trash and movies. and infront of that is a large tv on a cabinet full of anime and movies. there is a coco machine and a closet fill with Alphys’s stuff. Grillby works along with Napstaton in his club, its the only safe place for this guy. I guess instead of puzzles there are things like challenges for the player to overcome, tests of strength more or less. (like punching a dummy into nothing! Undyne just wants you to be ready to fight the queen since it is the last stretch of the game) And there you have it! theres all my ideas for underswapped places!
