Essay/Poem - Fall
It’s getting colder, but the colors
are getting warmer.
Red, orange, yellow
The leaves change and fall
down on the ground where they rustle and crunch
with every step.
September, October, November
The apples are ripe for the picking,
the pumpkins glow from inside,
a family feasts on fall delights.
Pumpkin pie, roasted turkey, cranberry sauce
No season seems to compare
though they may try –
no, not
Winter, spring, summer
