a little over 5 years ago, animal crossing new horizons launched, and the world shut down. i poured my days into the game, and tumblr.

about 2 weeks into the launch, i posted randomly asking if anyone wanted to play together. i had never had anyone over on my island before, and i wanted to try it.

the only person to reply was @sprinket, and i honestly don’t think we’d ever even spoken prior to this.

little did i know that after this, she’d become one of my best friends still to this day.

the top photo is from that first session 5 years ago.

treehouse is a playful, fun-filled, whimsical town. i kept thinking i’d explored the whole town but then i kept discovering new, adorable areas. for a town that wasn’t quite finished, i was super surprised with how much new stuff i kept finding!
