ADIDAS: SPRINT AND PATTERN
Generally when it comes to the high fashion notes in the Adidas family of brands you look more towards Adidas Originals Y-3 and Stella McCartney. As with most brands, they often choose to explore more fringe creative and design ideas within collaborations as to not alienate their general customers, but as I was shopping for new gym shorts this week I came across a huge influx of high designed items right in the Adidas Main Line.
Granted, a few items are from the Rita Ora Collaboration, but for the most part the print and pattern for their main line workout gear has been elevated. The men’s prints are highly sophisticated, linear and graphic, the women’s line feature pieces of large deconstructed florals mixed with the classic three stripes.
Definitely has me rethinking my “cheapest possible” strategy when it comes to workout gear.
