Some shots from a park/field that survived the light leaks. They were closer to the beginning of the roll, which I think made a difference. I really like these shots, especially since they seem to feel like a coherent collection describing a time and a place, even though I'm using the extremes in my depth of field. Although, looking at them all now, that my be due to my use of the "stick in the middle" composition.
This roll was HP5+ pushed to 1600, and while I see the utility of pushing, I don't think I'll do much of it in the future. The film base ended up darker, and generally I feel like there's less dynamic range to be had. While I was certainly able to get a good range of tonality in the scan, It was pretty compressed. It just seems like pushed film is less forgiving. Maybe I'll find it more useful to use the extra speed when I'm better at exposing.
