Opening up free readings with the Evolution Tarot to break in the new deck! Send in an ask or dm with a request
Hey Spruce! May I please have a reading? My question is, what is the most important thing I should be looking out for this month? Thank you!
Hello! Here’s what I have for you: Three of swords / Nine of potions / Nine of wands To start off with the three of swords indicates a great deal of heartbreak and sadness. There may be harsh truths or betrayals that you’re learning to live with and the cards acknowledge and validate the hurt you’re going through. The three of swords always comes with the silver lining that it will get better. This is a pain you can heal from, just be sure to allow yourself the space and time to do so. Directly next to the three of swords, we have the nine of potions (or cups), a card that expresses happiness. This is quite a bit of a turnaround and it shows that the trauma of the past will be well worth it for the happiness and joys of the future--perhaps it’s the situation that the three of swords represents that actually led to the comfort and delight of the nine of potions! It’s all about finding and cherishing the people in your life who make you feel whole. This card could indicate a future that’s yet to happen or the present situation for you. If you struggle to relate to it, perhaps take it as a piece of advice to remember what is really important to you and hold it close. Finally, we have the nine of wands. While it’s also the ninth card, it carries a much different tone than the nine of potions. Perhaps the heartbreak of the three of swords cannot be cast aside as swiftly or as thoroughly as we’d like to believe with the nine of potions. That kind of sadness can linger and wear upon you even when it feels like you should’ve moved on or that there’s nothing to be upset over any more. The nine of wands reminds you that happiness and healing isn’t a place, but a journey, and at times it can be downright exhausting. Be gentle with yourself, you’re closer to those greener pastures than you think.

Witchquests Week 2: Detect Blockages
Thinking of goals was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I decided to stay vaguely in the realm of witching and committed to these three:
1. Redecorate the space. This is about my home at large, but also includes altars. Steps include first donating things I no longer use or need, making what I can myself (mostly through crocheting), and thrifting needed furniture
2. Start a new grimoire. I've been planning this for a while, I already have the physical notebook and some plans for how to organize it!
3. Do a 78-card tarot spread. Sounds like a fun way to spend a whole Sunday! Steps for this involve a lot of research and planning.
I read two cards for blockages related to each goal. I used the Dreamweaver Tarot, which uses stones instead of coins, and every single pair had at least one stone! I think the cards can tell my biggest obstacle in general is just getting moving.
Other notable obstacles include fear of asking for help and running out of motivation in the face of delays, minor annoyances, and headaches!
I don't use this deck much, but I really enjoyed using it for this reading. I think it brings a sense of whimsy and adventure that really fits the theme of Witchquest!
