Book Character

Life as of late isn’t complete glitter and gold. Anxiety is in fact corrosive. I’m night wandering once more. I’m finding more comfort in the dark, damp streets in October than in the cold people around me. Depth; it’s the complexity I long for to create lucidity in my life. I often begin to think I’m absolutely mad and that no one else can truly feel with as much vibrancy. All emotion... the highs... the lows... to delve into it all is so beautiful. In between my own peaks and valleys, I supplement with books, song lyrics, and blogs of souls unknown to I. It’s proof though, isn’t it? There are more people out there like me. It’s just that not every book character lives in a midwestern dive-town in the woods. #sprucedale

Walking Warpath

Pave it over with strength and let the pain heave below. Ever since becoming a single mother and leaving him, I don't think everything has worked its way out of my system. He’s a distant, meaningless memory, but from there it’s always hybridized into a new strain of heartache that is meant to be left to fester beneath. What if one day those demons sprout through the asphalt? What if they crumble my facade and all see the ugliness underneath? I’m a walking warpath, and you’re now another person I struck without warning.
