Spuds Craft Cooked (Egypt)

I ordered these from Sweden and had no idea they are made in Egypt.

Opening the bag blasted my senses with a very potent scent, an unusual feature for screams. The expiration date is far in the future so it has to be an intentional feature.

The texture is quite unique. Very large, unevenly wavy cuts with some peel visible on the edges. They look messier but also more appealing than the image on the bag. For the style they're cut in they're quite thick too and have a stronger composition than most comparable chips. They have a pretty hefty amount of grease, which makes some pieces feel almost wet in your mouth.

The ingredient list is extremely short and yet, Spuds have a completely original flavor. It's a very refined but in no means faint combination. They are creamy, almost cheese-like. Onion is cut very very tiny, so you don't notice it at a glance, and the spice mix has an orange coloring that makes the cheese association stronger.

I'm glad to have been able to try out such a unique scream. I would give it a 9/10 but the greasiness is too much.
