Consider: Grace having 'teacher ears'
The eridian students being told he can't hear around corners like they can, because objects stop light, so doing some sneaky mischief like passing notes or making things under the desks where he can't see it.
Only for him to call them out on it anyway.
When asked how he knows, he says he's got teacher ears. He can hear when they're up to shenannigans.
Really though it's just his experience of child/eridian body language and KNOWING how students are when they're scheming that means he can tell its happening :)
This post inspired by a story I heard about a seeing-eye dog that would counter surf for food SILENTLY in her original home, and was apparently VERY surprised when her new owners could see it lmao.

With this potato, we commemorate the arduous journey that began the day we first read the words 'potato battery' on the page.
We remember the fallen comrades, who found our potato obsession a tad much and unfollowed us.
We express our gratitude to the friends who shared their potatoes with us. They took us on a starchy adventure around the globe and across time. We were guests at their table, and we flicked through the pages of family cookbooks together. We reminisced about our potato-related mishaps and embarrassments, and we longed for a day we could share a potato together in this doggone world, not just in spirit but also in body.

Beetee truly encapsulates something that genuinely ties the series and fanbase together. We might be separated in opinion at times — hostility brewing in subsections of the fandom.
Shipping wars be damned. The unforgivable crime of enjoying a character or book someone hates is nothing compared to the unity this universal truth brings us.
Some people say the series is about love as a weapon, some might say it is about oppression and revolution.
However if you boil it down, the series (and Beetee) is really about two things: Smarts snd potatoes.
