She knew what the plan was from the start. Caroline knew that in order to keep the world from falling in on itself, Klaus would have to die. The knowledge that it meant  none of them would be vampires either was too exciting to pass up. Yes, Caroline liked who she was, strong and powerful, but she also knew that she wanted a family and kids, she wanted to be the trophy wife with the white picket fence and this mess Klaus created had ruined all of that for her.           "Well, this is definitely different." The words left her lips quietly as she sat up, a pain on the back of her head telling her she must have fallen recently but she wasn't quite sure where. She didn't bother thinking about it, the dull ache would soon disappear and she would be herself without worry. A hand rose in attempts to rub the soreness out of her head but the sound of footsteps on rocks distracted her.
