Iran claims to have deciphered and gathered information from the U.S. Spy Drone it captured in December of 2011. An Iranian General says that they were able to see the flight pattern of the drone and pinpoint locations which the drone flew over, including Osama Bin Laden's compound in Pakistan two months before his death. U.S. officials doubt that Iran has reverse-engineered and deciphered the drone, feeling that the technology is too advanced for Iranian capabilities. However, there are concerns that Iran will sell parts of the drone to other, more capable, nations. China has long been interested in the stealth coating that is attached to a lot of U.S. aerial devices, and U.S. officials think that Iran will give China what they want for some sort of an exchange. Retired U.S. General James "Spider" Marks says that the U.S. should assume the compromise of the drone is complete.
