There's No Such Thing as "Too Many Sea Creatures"
It's been a busy day at the restaurant and everyone was tired at the end of the day, but none so much as Squid Girl, who was running about, serving tables and keeping customers happy. The Aizawa sisters (Eiko, the manager, and Chizuru, the cook) keep her on this job because of how useful her tentacles are...
After they locked up the restaurant, the Aizawa sisters (who were also Squid Girl's charges) began making their way back home. "Aren't you coming, Squid Girl?" Eiko called back.
"No, I want to stay here a bit more, and enjoy the nice ocean ~de geso," Squid Girl replied.
"Don't stay out too long!"
Squid Girl went down to the edge of the shoreline, where the waves could just about touch the ends of her feet, but didn't. She stared up at the moon, and thought about how peaceful and serene the whole place was at night, when there were no annoying humans, no lifeguard whistles being blown... just the sound of the waves hitting the shore. Very peaceful indeed.
And that's when she heard a noise...
