"Nice to see you as well! I'm glad you finally came and visited our restaurant," Chizuru responded as she handed a plate to Nagisa for another table. "Unfortunately, Eiko is out sick today, but I'm sure she'll be better soon!"

"Two... shrimp combos..." Squid Girl repeated, writing down the order on a notepad, although she noticeably paused before saying 'shrimp'. "Okay, will do ~de geso!" She brought the notepad up to the counter for Chizuru to start preparing.

Squid Girl had the day off from working at the restaurant, so she felt like going out for a swim in the ocean. Despite being a sea creature, she has really come to enjoy the surface, and thus hasn't really been out to sea that much since she came up to the surface world.

It seems she hasn't been the only one enjoying the ocean's waters though. Of course, all kinds of people come to this beach to relax and play. She looked around at everyone enjoying themselves today, and she noticed something.

There was one girl that seemed to be swimming quite a bit in a certain area of the beach water... as if she was practicing for a swimming competition or something. ... Suddenly, Squid Girl had the idea to come over and cheer her on. Cheering others helps them do better, right? And she wanted this girl to do well if she was going to be in a competition...

Hey Ika, what do you think of Takeru? You two seem rather similar in terms of your interests and generally immature, competitive attitude.

"Takeru?

"Hmm... he's a nice kid ~de geso. He has a lot of enthusiasm too, which is good ~de geso. I think a few more years of training and he'll make a good minion for me as long as that scary Chizuru doesn't stop me from training him ~de geso...

"And what do you mean 'immature, competitive attitude' ~de geso? I'll have you know, I am the most mature squid this world has ever seen ~de geso! No one's more mature than me! No one!"

Open RP #1: The Big Storm

(( Absolutely anyone can reply to an open RP. :) ))

Squid Girl was enjoying her time at the beach. She didn't have to work at that restaurant, so instead, she spent the day playing around in the sand and in the water, swimming, making sandcastles, and more swimming. She even found a little crab and began chasing it around the beach.

However, soon the weather took a turn for the worse. It began to rain and then boom! Thunder! Squid Girl didn't want to be stuck outside during a thunderstorm, but she was on a part of the beach that she wasn't familiar with... She had no umbrella either. ... What to do now?

Shall I join yonder quest for invasion?~

"Heh heh, 'yonder'... that's a funny word ~de geso...

Hmm... I'm always looking for new people to help me with my invasion ~de geso! Alright, what kind of skills can you offer?"

"Hey Squid girl. remember me?" Shiro show up at her working place.

"Oh, hi there ~de geso. Sorry, kind of a busy time right now..." she stated, while using two tentacles to place drinks on another table.

She then carefully looked over this newcomer. "I'm sorry, I don't think I do ~de geso. Would you like something to drink though ~de geso?" she asked, pencil in one hand and a notepad in the other.
