You might have seen this banner pop up in the SQ tags over the last couple of weeks, and I would like to apologise in advance if you consider this annoying (all promotion will be tagged #sqslack in case you want to blacklist). That said, I really hope you give this project a chance; We’ve already created a nice little community over Slack and every single person that has joined so far has said as much to me.
I will refer you to @anothershadeofgreen‘s post about it from a few days ago for a perfectly worded explanation about what it is and how it works, and move on to describe some specifics.
→ Since we started this initiative, the Swan Queen community at Slack has shared 10.6K messages (including channels, groups and DMs) and 29 files. Here are some little tidbits so you get an idea of the type of comments/discussions we are having (all content used with permission):

Q&As with the awesome members of Swen: fic authors, artists, vidders, meta writers, etc.
RPG-themed channels for OUaT/Swan Queen roleplaying blogs; interaction would be very easy and everything gets archived and is searchable for future reading/reference (we already have a Spanish RPG channel #sq_rol)
private brainstorming groups for collaborative works and/or writers+betas
