Joyride and her younger brother and sister are supporting characters. While Joyride is off with Friede, Liko, Blue, and Cobalt, her siblings attend the Nanjara-Uva Academy and are Ash’s students. Joy and her twin brother Roy ( the rare born male Joy) represent the gas station like Pokemon Center-Mart attendants from the game, with Joy having an apprenticeship under Miriam, the school’s nurse. The two Joy kids are inseparable, and happily support their famous racing big sister, selling some merch at the school store. When the Paradox Pokemon come into play, Roy gets Iron Bundle, who becomes the store’s mascot. The infirmary makes use of two Cyclizar who are basically the two huphuphup beaver doctors from Rocko’s Modern Life.
Don George is a transfer student from Unova, and a fan of Ash’s like Alfie. When Alfie isn’t around with Ash and Iono, he’s usually off with Don George and Hall Monitor Jenny doing something. The token “jock” of the class, he’s always eager to prove how strong he is, and is often training with his Cuphant and Flamigo when not studying. His big brother runs a dojo aboard Friede’s ship that Cobalt, Roy, Diana and Blue use to stay sharp. When the Paradox Pokemon come into play, Don becomes friends with Iron Hands and Great Tusk.
