Watcher Fandom PSA
We need to lock in chat - our crops are dying. Our fandom has been getting quieter and less active but I think we can change this!
1. Start posting more!
You - yes, you! - can help by making more posts. You don't have to only post art or gifs - anything from text posts, meta ramblings, video clips, screenshots, memes, or reactions are good!
If you make a post about their shows - then go to Step 2.
2. If you want people to find your posts use the tag #watcherblr
tumblr tags are kind of a mess because I think Watcher is a video game and also that one movie, so I say we claim this one. This will put all the fandom posts somewhere we can find them.
(and if your post is for Watcher TV, add that as a tag too so people can filter if they're on the YouTube schedule)
Some gifmakers have already been using the tag #watcheredit so you could also add this if you make any gifs or other edits.
3. REBLOG POSTS
tumblr likes don't do much - we all need to reblog more
maybe you're new to tumblr but here: REBLOGS COUNT MORE THAN LIKES. so make a watcher sideblog if you must but hit that reblog button!

Secret tumblr hack: if you find a Squad Watcher blog you like you can tap on the three dots on their profile page and choose "Get Notifications" then those posts will go on a separate tumblr timeline! <- that link will be unique to your tumblr

maybe I'm preaching to the choir with the group of us that read these posts on tumblr (and we're already on the streamer) but all the nonsense going on with google age verification and cracking down on youtube accounts has me thinking it's going to hurt smaller creators, like Watcher
people are pushing for youtube boycotts (which I completely understand bc what yt and google are doing is stupid) but I don't want to see this negatively effect Watcher - view counts on their videos have been dwindling for some time already and I'm sure this isn't going to make it any better
so if you can budget $42 and subscribe for a whole year of Watcher TV that's the best way to support them right now (that's the price with the current 30% off code)

2025 Wiki Wrapped
It's been quite a year, full of great content and several milestones in the Watcher fandom!
On YouTube we had the premiere of Ghost Files Alone (and Alone Together), as well as full seasons of Puppet History, Top 5 Beatdown, Are You Scared, two seasons each of Mystery Files and Ghost Files, and a special season of Too Many Spirits! We also started getting live content with recordings of Get Scared! and Ghost Files Debrief as well as new shows on Watcher TV.
January 10th: Watcher celebrated their fifth anniversary on YouTube and lots of fans shared their top 5 Watcher shows with us
April 2nd: Watcher started following our Wiki tumblr account!
April 17th: New show Drink To That! premieres on the streamer (WTV Exclusive)
April 21st: Pod Watcher rebranded to Get Scared!
April 22nd: Ghost Files made their network TV premiere on an episode of the ABC series "The Rookie"
May 1st: The ASA channel premiered their new food series
June 13th: New show Screaming Room premieres on the streamer (WTV Exclusive)
June 19th: Watcher went to VidCon and recorded a live episode of Get Scared!
July 15th: Ryan and Shane livestreamed from the Sorrel-Weed House while filming Ghost Files Alone Together
August 16th: Ryan and Shane hosted a panel at Midsummer Scream
September 3rd: Watcher's YouTube channel hit 3,000,000 subscribers!!
October 16th: Wiki tumblr reached 300 followers!
October 20th: 100th Episode of Get Scared/Pod Watcher aired
December 3rd: WaWiWo premieres on the streamer (WTV Exclusive)
December 24th: Puppet History Contingency Tapes premieres on the streamer
December 29th: Get Scared! (formerly Pod Watcher) concludes after 110 episodes
Plus we had so many fun works of fan art and crowned Mothman as the official cryptid of Squad Watcher over here on tumblr!
