     Colonel Flag swallowed hard. He hated looking weak, and there wasn’t a much weaker position he could think of than his current situation: lying in a hospital bed, one hand cuffed to the frame, numerous wires and monitors strapped to his person. His heart throbbed, but it was whole again, thanks to the miracle of modern medicine.

     From the look on Waller’s face, Rick wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if she tore his newly repaired heart out and took a bite of it. “Nice to see you too, boss,” he grated out.

“hey, i knew you’d always be here to bail me out,” floyd says. “what would we do without you?” it’s mocking joviality, of course, but he is happy to see her. he’d gotten nabbed for something minor after getting the mission mostly done, and taken into custody. waller, of course, can yank him out of the legal system. god knows what authority she does it on. probably cia.

“i hope everyone else got the mission done,” he adds. “s’not like i could help when i was handcuffed and they took my guns. you got those back, maybe?” he hopes so. they were nice, top of the line, had become familiar.

“You know how long I’ve lived?” Far longer than he could remember with so many faces. He even remembered that time he was a corpse. Used up almost all of his regeneration's, but eventually came back stronger than ever. “How many faces I’ve had and lives I’ve taken?” Eyes roll. “I’m always paranoid. It doesn’t matter the face or time period. Someone’s always a step beside me.”

          “I’m just not sure how I can be of much use to you, Ms. Waller. I only just learned how to control this...whatever it is I do.”  She paused, realizing that it probably wasn’t in her best interest to say just how little she knew of her own powers.  “What exactly is it you want from me?”

          Immediately her mouth snapped shut, expression somewhere between a frown and a pout. Waller was fucking scary as hell - it was actually pretty impressive. She was somehow scarier than any of the street thugs and violent criminals Lucy crossed on a daily basis. If it were any of them Lucy would just tell them to go fuck themselves, as it was she just crossed her arms and grit her teeth.  “Fine.”  she spat out, needing to have the last word.
