🍡 Favourite snack while writing?
Chocolate chip cookies, but I'd give anything to have the Italian gourmet cookies with the chocolate chips on top. I also like the Stella D'Oro cookies, or the "S cookies" as I called them when I was younger. I'd like to go to Italy sometime, but I don't know a lick of Italian except for bongiorno, ciao, and arrivederci.
🌊 What was the first muse you've ever written?
I do not remember the name, but it was for a high school roleplay on Cabbit dot Net. It was a forum roleplay.

I did not do too badly cutting my hair when it got matted from a spiral into depression. I can potentially put it in a similar hairstyle as Chrome. It looks significantly neater as well, because I needed a trim. I do miss my long hair, though.
I look a little more my age, but I am working on that in the clothes and personality departments.

Sarina, for all her faults and her own negative tendencies, means well. She really does. Her intentions will get her into trouble, especially the good ones. She does see Xanxus as someone that the Ninth deeply cares for, but neither man will admit it. Will she tell that to Xanxus? It really depends on whether she wants to die or not. Will she tell Squaletta or Squalo? You can bet your ass she will, but they will warn her against saying it to Xanxus.
Sarina was originally Xanxus', Squalo's, and Dino's senpai in the academy. She would tease Dino mostly, but she also teased Squalo. As for Xanxus, she did not tease him but would nod in his direction and ask him how he was. Sarina would also make sure they would not tell anyone of their mafia or criminal underworld connections. That is all she would do.
🪷 Whose writing do you admire?
I admire my offline friends' writing. It has the right amount of description and the right amount of prose. I love it when people can make me try to challenge myself with longer posts and attempt to move the story along. That has been a weakness of mine in the past.
I have written male characters with my friend Nikki, too. Most of the time, I end up doing so, so I try writing my female OCs on here. Like filling my cup until it overflows, so I can give to other people. Yeah, sure, I want the 'ships and the spice, but at the end of the day, I want a really good tag-team fight roleplay.
My friend, Alya, whom I don't see much anymore, also has the right amount of description and the right amount of prose. However, she leans heavily into description, which I feel is more popular in European literature than American literature. And her writing is more purple prose, so I try to mimic that with my writing when I do reply to her. And I feel I have to stick to my style of writing.
I get insecure with my writing because I do more artwork than writing. However, as a sequential artist, I need to be good with writing and artwork. Comics are just storyboards with quotation bubbles. You need a good grasp on cinematography and interesting angles, or your audience is gonna get bored. On here, yoru audience might get bored and decideto unfollow you. So, it's kind of nerve-racking sometimes, y'know?
💕 Say something nice about your own writing.
(Nervously sweats.) Well, I do a good job of handling the emotions between characters. I try not to name the emotion, but rather show and describe the expression. I go by "show, don't tell" and "simple is probably best" in certain areas. I might break and bend writing rules, but I try to grow as a writer on here and break out of my survival mode when it comes to networking.
🍑 What is something you hyperfocus on in your portrayal?
I hyperfocus on the mentality of a person and what they feel or think. I like breaking them down, trying to understand them better. I also try to go for what I think is missing and fill that missing piece with an OC I feel will fit. Or, I might do a what-if scenario. My interpretation of characters will not be the same as another's. There is no best way to portray a character than the original writer, although I do have my feelings when it comes to Chrome's story arc in Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
I think a few can agree that some things she needed to be in there and fighting rather than staying back with the girls. She is by no means weak, but she does have a limit on what she can do because of the current state of her body and her health. Illusion-wise, I think she has the potential to out-illusion Mukuro. However, combat-wise, Mukuro will win. Chrome will only feel useful if she can fight on par with Mukuro. So, she strives to become stronger even when her body has a limit. I think the best way to go about writing her mentality is to read about people with physical disabilities. When they want to do something, they will find a way to do it, but they will need to find a way that is suitable to them. For example, someone born with no arms can use their feet and shoulders to shoot an arrow. The sport helps them find the discipline to find the strength in themselves to break limitations safely and efficiently.
My own disability is invisible; it is a learning disability, and I have trouble with vocabulary. I do share symptoms with those on the autistic spectrum, and a therapist has stated I am most likely on that spectrum. However, I am of a higher function than other people on the spectrum. Though I still have trouble with social nuances. (My father said, my symptoms are near asymptomatic. Meaning it is hard to detect and difficult to say if I am or if I am not.) I still have the disability, but I have taken speech therapy and gone to school with special education early on. I strive to be as average as a neurotypical person. However, I do have my limits, and I will need help. It makes learning languages tricky as well.

[Romantic HC]
Despite his Casanova kinda ways, Dino is actually quite serious when it comes to relationships. He may flirt and things with people, but it never crosses a certain threshold. It's just easier to deal with people if they don't think to see past his Casanova ways.
When he truly does care for someone, he's a lot more honest and upfront about it. Sure, flirting can still be there as a way to tease, but he's very upfront about his feelings if he wants to announce it. Not sure if she's notice this fact early on or not, but kekek
[Family HC]
If they ever do become and official couple, I do think that Dino would at one point bring her to a school for a random tour and point through a window and introduce his mom who had split from his father because she couldn't handle the mafia life. So she was given an out. They may have parted ways, but they still care for each other. she's the biggest factor as to why the Cavallone famiglia is so strict on public safety of the civilians. His mother is one and he'd be damned if anyone hurts her.
It's very rare that he does this, but it's just a small thing that he does to check in on her, and she gets to see that he's still well because they don't have any direct correspondence. Maybe, if she's lucky, she'd look over at the right time to see Squaletta. She'd be smart enough to understand why Dino would bring someone over to see her from afar.
[Friendship HC]
I like to think that they had a chaotic kind of friendship during their school years. He was a bit of a mess and she'd tease him for that, much to his chagrin. She never went too far as she did have some respect for an upcoming mafia boss by blood, but it's too easy to mess with clumsiness incarnate.
[Enemy HC]
Even if they ever had to stand on opposite sides to fight eachother, there seems to be a bit of hesitation that you see in canon. Not that they really hesitate to fight, but that they both acknowledge the skills of the other and know that it won't be a simple fight. You really have to have to resolve to want to fight this battle in seriousness, and that would mean possibly really harming someone you cared for in your past. If there was a way to get out of it, they would, but if their pride was on the line? They'd act without mercy as a sign of respect. That's how I see it.
[Soulmate HC]
He doesn't believe in soulmates because his mother thought that his father was that for her, but it turned out he was mafia and she just couldn't acclimate or accept it. Neither parent ever fell in love with anyone else, so neither remarried. It feels like they were meant for each other as they could never find anyone else... and yet... they couldn't be together. If so, soulmates do not necessitate a happy ending, and he'd rather not see it that way.
He prefers to view it as a journey to traverse alongside another person who shares your ideals. You fight life together and see things to the end.
[Domestic HC]
I laugh at the idea that if they were living together for a mission or what, you'd really see that he could make for a good house husband. His mother made sure that he'd be able to fend for himself before sending him off to the mafia. He can cook and clean for himself, though it takes him a bit more time with how clumsy he can be.
[Random HC]
Discussed the one time that he probably has a stable somewhere to ride horses and it's a great way for him to destress the mind. I do think that he's been looking around for a horse to give to Squaletta specifically. For now, she just rides whatever is available because he's been taking in horses that have been rescued, are retired race horses, etc. He just likes horses. Some of them were also inherited from his father as it was something he and the ex-wife used to love.
Delfino hisses to herself as she carefully wraps bandages around her waist in her room. The mission she went on wasn't meant to be too hard or anything, but the enemy still managed to get one cheap shot against her. The wound shouldn't need stitches, probably, but it still hurt like hell. The problem now though is trying to hide this injury. She can only hope she can pull this off right.
Dr. Love thinks that a relationship between Yamamoto and Squaletta has a very good chance of being successful, but this doesn't mean that you don't have to work on the relationship. Remember that every relationship needs spending time together, talking with each other etc.
"I guess we're more compatible than I thought we were."
