I've added nearly 100 squares to this in two months. This goal of a square for each day of the year might actually be doable? It might depend on the summer though. So we shall see. But look at it! Look how much it has grown! I'm absolutely loving it. I also bought a ton of mini skeins to add to this thing. So there will be some fun yarns coming up soon!

I have this awesome book of 200 crochet blocks, (see photos), and have decided to make every single block, in order. I’ll be utilizing all of my yarn remnants for this project, so colors are going to vary from those used in the book.

My goal is to make at least three squares a week. I will be sharing them here as I complete them.

And so it begins......

Block #1: Triangle Stripes

The original was done with three colors, however, I used four to work a more aesthetically pleasing design with the remnants I chose. I also used a US size K crochet hook; simply because I happen to prefer working with larger squares.

More blocks will be coming this week!!!
