Square eggs
Sticking to my theme of things that look good, here are some slices from an unusually shaped egg.
Where do you get square eggs from? Square chickens of course! They cost more but that’s not surprising. I’m getting carried away here: these are normal hard boiled eggs, pressed - while still warm - into a cube shaped mold. When the egg is completely cold, it can be pushed out and voila - a beautiful square egg.
The gadget can be found on Amazon here and costs under £5. It’s great fun for children and even adults can just enjoy the visual effect.
