Challenge 90: Healthy - The Doctor is Out

Hello again! This time around the challenge prompt was Healthy. I thought long and hard about what I’d do. Sure enough, it ended up going off the dark end. It had been a while since I did a new character study, so I made a doctor. A nice post-apocalyptic plague doctor. The shining bastion of wasteland healthcare. His fingers have removed many a bullet, and his bone saw has seen many an amputation. The blasted landscape is harsh and foul, but the inside of his mask smells like sandalwood and a summer sunset’s light rain. Feeling better already.

Congratulations for Square Carousel's 5th anniversary!! I'm so grateful to have been a part of such an amazing group of artists and people. I appreciate the invitation to participate in this 5th anniversary challenge! I chose to incorporate the color of rose quartz in the moon of my Kitsune liquid-acrylic painting. Just my take on the Japanese folklore about the multi-tailed fox! Very fun project :) Thanks so much you guys! (my apologies for bad image quality) Catherine
