@amelia-rate submitted: Mexican Bean Beetle larva that got on me while I harvested cucumbers. They're supposedly a cucumber pest but I was charmed and alarmed all at once.
WHAT A GUY. Incredible lil spines. Although it does make giving them a little kiss difficult :\
I would guess this one is a squash lady beetle rather than a Mexican bean beetle since it's eating cucumber! They're in the same genus and larvae look the same. Or even another species in the same genus, depending on location.
