I would use either "thanks in advance for your help" or "sincerely"; "thanks for your consideration" would be if you were sending a resume or application

If he’s a native English speaker, “thanks in advance” or just “thank you” would work, I think. A lot of professors tend to respond to their students’ super formal emails in a much less formal way. I think he’d understand what you’re saying.
He's a native Hebrew speaker like me and speaks English as a third or a second language (and Hebrew has almost next to nothing to offer when it comes to formality) but yeah you're both right,I'm gonna sign it as 'thanks in advance,leah'.
