But seriously if you are writing a fic and give the s/o character a name, it defeats the purpose of an x reader. I don't care if it's oc x character story, have fun enjoy but for the love of God don't tag it as x reader please. I get wanting more people to see your stories but it's irritating to click on a fic that is tagged x reader and get two paragraphs in and the 'reader' has a name. You don't see honest to go x reader writers tagging their stuff x oc, so why are you doing it.

And don't come at me saying 'well there's extensions you can use to switch out the names' or 'if you don't like it don't read it' , because one I don't read it if I know from the start it's not truly an x reader and second not everyone uses a computer to read. I use my phone to read and there ain't no extensions for the app that do anything like that.

If you really want to post your OC fic in the x reader tag it's not hard to use Google docs to search out every mention of your OC's name and replace it with y/n.

Just for the love of God stop cross tagging oc fics with x reader it's annoying and bogs down the tags making it harder to find the real x reader fics that people work just as hard on.

Do you ever rewatch a show that means a lot to you and get emotional? Like feeling pride over how much the characters have grown since the show first started.

I say this because after watching the new Mha movie I decided to rewatch the show. I love it so much and seeing where everyone started and comparing it to where they are now makes me want to cry. I imagine this is how a proud parent feels when their kids do something amazing.

Realistically I know their just fictional characters and of course they were designed to grow as the story goes on, but I can't help it. My Hero got me through some really tough times and I honestly don't know where I'd be if I hadn't been introduced to it back in 2018.

Slightly spoilers for The dragon prince season 6 below the cut

I just finished season 6 of The dragon prince, and I gotta say that was an emotional rollercoaster. I legit started crying when Soren told Viren to use his heart to cast the fire protection spell. I'm not emotionally prepared to spend the next year waiting for what's next. I have so many other feelings but my love for Soren is taking over so he's the main priority. I also came up with some ideas for my Soren soulmate au if I decide to write through the two year time skip.

Fun little life update

My grandma is once again in the hospital. She went to the hospital like a week ago because of a bladder infection and she can home at around 9pm ish last night set up to get IV antibiotics at home and we all thought she was fine. Well around 2am she had to go back to the hospital, I was asleep so I don't have all the details, but apparently when she got to the hospital her blood pressure was extremely low, we also found out that the medline that was placed for her antibiotics was not placed correctly so if she hadn't gone back she wouldn't have been getting her meds properly. My brother (who's her caregiver) was also told that she was septic. From what I've heard we are going to try and sue the hospital she was at because she nearly died.

I just needed to get this off my chest and vent about it. I'm stressed with everything plus my uncle is trying way to hard to make up for risking our housing earlier this month and my thoughts have been a bit of a mess. There will probably be more posts like this in the coming days so just bare with me.

I love being petty to narcissistic assholes. I haven't said more than like ten words in the last month to this asshole and I can tell it's driving him crazy. He keeps trying to get me to talk to him or asking others in our house if they know why I stopped talking to him. And it's funny cause no one will tell him why, their just like 'idk ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯' and move one to a different topic. I'm living for watching him try and hide that he's upset that he lost yet another one of his favorite pawns.

When family lore drops that completely changes the way you view someone it really takes it out of you. I already hated this bitch but to know that it is worse and goes back further than lying about money, really fucks with my head.

In the span of two months this person went from being the person I talked to about everything to me not even wanting to speak in their presence.

And this info is dropped without any warning or heads of hey you might want to emotionally prepare for this bombshell.
