You were far away from hive travelling for work and frankly enough, you were absolutely exhausted. This latest rouge had /really/ put you through your paces this time, crushing three hives in the process and you had only just managed to get the job done.
You decide quickly you need rest, for you could already see the hints of sunrise on the horizon. You captcha the beast and hurry to what you think is an old abandoned hive, for the plants growing from the greenhouse out the back are overgrown as hell and covering the roof and you couldn’t hear or see anyone around so you assume it’s fairly safe. You head for the plants and get under cover just as dawn breaks.
You pull out your sleeping pouch and take off your trench coat as it’s too warm to sleep in it, then settle in under a shelf with a spot that’s hidden by trailing green tendrils and protected from the harsh sun. You fall asleep alone, mentally preparing yourself for the daymares that always come when you sleep away from hive.
