gonna get a fake ID, go to a bar, meet a guy, and then explain the entirety of community instead of sleeping with him because that is itself, TWO community references.

Every year they didn't expect that they would have another season which was why all finales wrapped up but also left a little bit of a tether instead of a full cliffhanger
For the same reason they also had a lot of fun on set and instead of it feeling like a job with a lot of work, it felt more personal and fun
Because of the long hours Dan Harmon made them work, not many people wanted to stay after the main shoot to record the end tags. Danny pudi and Donald glover were the ones who offered and this is how the troy and abed relationship actually started! The original was gonna be troy and Peirce (bonding over mutual adolescence as said by abed in an episode)
Frankie dart appeared in a season five episode as a different character (the it lady) They reference this in a season six episode.
jim rash directed the season four body swap episode! This is the only episode he directed but it definitely helped season four 🙏
Danny pudi and Allison brie were the "backstage troy and abed" because they were really close as friends :)
Greendale (and the whole show) is based off of Dan harmons college and college experience
The "six seasons and a movie" cry came from the moment where abed says a different show (the cape) would last for six seasons and have a movie. This was a throwaway gag until the fandom decided that this was their goal. It's occasionally at the end of episodes in later seasons and it's also on the blackboard behind the dean in the season four finale
Donald glover would show the cast his music before he ever released it and they would hype him up and listen to it between shots
