I SO much prefer the wooden ones to aluminium - even though they get badly stained I love that they tell a story of every print they've ever created! I used to do only paper prints and in the last 18 months I've switched to doing a lot more fabric printing. Thank you so much for the mention 🙂 We love process shots, can’t wait to see the printing @inkandbear Today I headed into @leedsprintworkshop for the first time since Feb 2020 and it was SO good to be back with the professional equipment again! I love my home studio- but there's nothing quite like using a washout booth and a huge exposure unit for making life easier! I got my screens re-stretched by @screenstretch to make them into fabric screens so they're hopefully perfect for printing onto muslin! Here's the design for layer two of my muslins - I'm still to test out the actual printing as today was all about getting the designs onto screen. Swipe to see the process! First you start out with a blank screen, and then coat it with light sensitive emulsion. After that you pop it in the huge exposure unit and blast very strong light onto the screen. The design blocks the light from getting through and keeps this part of the screen gooey. Managed to anti bac the exposure unit so it was safe to make a couple of #photostencils. Used my lovely new fabric printing screens from @screenstretch so it was nice & quick.
