I wasn't sure how to make the coloring of this guy so I was improvising with spots and here we are. I'm thinking who and what animal I want to draw next. Maybe Wilford as jellyfish?

Here's a squid-based merman for Mermay!

I drew him while brainstorming ideas for the mermen based off squiddles from Homestuck, and I thought he was too cute not to make into a finished drawing.

Introducing Sid in his full form!

He is half vampire squid because those are cool. He likes sitting in a wheelie bin of water in order to keep hydrated on land.

Although not depicted here, if he wears any clothes it’s most likely to be a Hawaiian shirt.

This guy is the the friendliest of my characters, and is all around a pretty upbeat guy, although he scares easily and will get defensive if you question his bin.

The spikes on the underside of his tentacles are all for show, they’re actually soft, and it’s not super easy to see in the picture but he does have a row of small suckers along each tentacle too.

Are those things poking out of his hair ears or fins? Will we ever know the answer? One of life’s great mysteries.
