i find it funny that apparently some people are calling ajr "fake deep." cause like, idk, i think that's the point. they're not singing about generational trauma or anarchism or whatever "hand in unlovable hand" stuff tumblr thinks is deep. they have songs about being too normal of a person, songs about staying inside and doing fuckall, and songs literally about how bad he has to complain about his relatively unimportant problems. they write songs about mundane problems that a lot of people have with the recognition that you need to complain about shit sometimes no matter who has it worse. it is worth noting that all three of them are culturally jewish
