I know I've talked about this before, but I love the idea of the doctor and the master regenerating together in mysterious circumstances, and having the audience be kept in the dark about which one's which for an episode or three

One major difference that I'm noticing between the asexual and aromantic communities is that ace people often talk about ace-ness in terms of (lack of) attraction. Ace people will talk about not experiencing sexual feelings or crushes and such. Discussion of the act of sex and whether one is favourable or averse/repulsed is treated as a separate topic from the core notion of attraction.
In aro communities, however, I've noticed there's a lot more discussion that focuses around repulsion. I've seen a lot of people describe their aromamticism as "I don't want romance" - as being averse or repulsed by romantic acts, or by the societal expectations around what romantic relationships should be. Frequently in discussions, the lack of romantic feelings/attraction takes a back seat.
I feel like there's something interesting about that distinction. Maybe it's just a surface level thing (e.g. broader societal discussions around sex are focused on attraction while discussions around romance are focused on obligation and romantic acts) but I wonder if there's something deeper to it?
hmm? what? oh sorry, I was distracted by your beautiful long snout and your stunningly sharp teeth...
Parasocial relationships and their impact on demisexual/demiromantic folks is something I almost never see discussed!
Like, I have actually developed crushes on strangers - but only specifically streamers or YouTubers or other such people who I've developed a parasocial connection to.
I don't actually know them, but I feel like I have an emotional bond with them... And even though it's completely one-sided, it can be enough for attraction to form.

Hey, you didn't show up to the group meowing session today - is everything going okay?

Want to come over to my place and meow at me for a few hours?
