(Not my photo- it's the sample project from the pattern book, Huge and Huggable Mochimochi) LOOK WHAT I GET TO MAKE GUYS. Hubby got me the pattern book for V-Day and tonight when we went shopping I got the yarn. I'm going to have a giant pink and purple squid. Yay!
I had no idea that squid were so prone to dragging divers screaming into the inky depths, where their lungs will be crushed by the immense pressures of the pitiless ocean. So, the lesson here is, Do Not Swim With The Squid. Do Not Get Close To The Squid. Do Not Look At The Squid. Squid Will End You.
This guy decides to go swimming with Humboldt squid even though all the local fishermen are, "Don't do that, you will die". But he goes in anyway and gets attacked by squid, who drag him down so fast his eardrum implodes, gets his wrist broken, and ends up with multiple lacerations. This guy narrowly escaped a Darwin award.
I'm watching Man-Eating Super Squid. I thought it was about the legend of the Kraken, but it's more When Squid Attack, complete with rapid camera cuts and screamy soundtrack. The squid are coming, and they're hungry.
