I like how the bomb squad lady is also wearing cargo pants. Because sometimes eight pockets are just not enough!

I'm having a hard time imaging how much equipment I'd have to need a dozen pockets. =P Considering that these are primarily marketed towards bitework trainers, there's probably pockets needed for prongs, chokes, and ecollars -- but I'd assume you could throw all the aversives in one large pocket and the other junk in another, while two pockets are saved for your primary rewards. 

But no. FIFTY POCKETS OR BUST.

Wow, for that price, I could attach an iPhone to Maulkin’s collar and use an app to track him. Added bonus for being able to text him to cue a recall. =P

Ahah, exactly. For $400 I'd buy myself cool tech and the dog can stay on the long line. =P

has he posted a recent video with it? if not i recall it being discussed that he no longer trains stays that way

I don't think so? I don't watch a ton of his videos (mostly just the disc dog ones) so I'm not sure if he made a more recent video of it, I was just on his Facebook and wondering about it.

If so, I'm glad to hear he doesn't use force anymore!

I found that really bizarre, too. I remember he says in the video, he uses force because stays are so important. (Which makes no sense whatsoever?) If he has changed his methods, he should take down that old video and remake it.

Ugh, "I use force for the IMPORTANT stuff!" is straight out of the punishment-based trainers handbook. :[

My biggest pet peeve is when trainers leave up old, outdated advice on their websites and don't warn people that it's defunct. Kind of like Leerburg; his fans always TELL me he's evolved, but there's still a page detailing how to hang a dog from a tree.
