Aaah, after 10,000 years, I’m free! Now it’s time to conquer the 3D world XD Lol, hopefully~
Just when I figured I was done, Animschool pulled me back in. As it turned out, I had one last semester of school that I needed to complete and pass before I can officially graduate from the programme. So for my final class, I chose Materials and Texturing where I finally learnt how to use Substance Painter.
The above presentation was my Otteropolis Chompbot that I textured as part of my final project. A special big hearty thanks to Rafael Chies who was my instructor for this final semester. Not only is he a tremendously talented texture artist---you can find him and his mad skills over on his Artstation right here--- but also a terrific teacher. I learnt ALOT from him especially in regards to creating UVs and texturing my models with Substance. I really, really wanted to take the texturing class since I wanted to learn how to use Substance and I’m glad that I got to do it for my final course before I wrapped up my scholarship.
Now this squiggle meister can add texturing to her growing arsenal of tricks. Sweet awesome sauce~
