"Welcome to my main bloggie curious peeps and peepettes and budding squiggle meisters of the world. I hope you like, enjoy, share and become inspired by what you find here."
are you gong to watch rwby v10 when it comes out t just got greenlit
Hello there anon-chan.
Yes, I did hear the news about RWBY V10 FINALLY being greenlit. And to answer your question, yes, I do intend to watch it whenever it drops. Although, I’ll admit it will take some time on my part to get back into the spirit of being a RWBY fan since it has been … *checks calender* THREE YEARS since Volume 9 aired and ended. Yikes.
Nonetheless, at least this news gives me something to look forward to down the line. I genuinely hope V10 would be worth the long wait and that the CRWBY Writers spent a good chunk of this hiatus fine tuning the next upcoming chapter of RWBY to perfection.
I genuinely don't want RWBY to return and STILL have the same old mistakes that has haunted the writing/overal storytelling of the series since V4. I guess I'll see ... in time. Fingers crossed.
Hello. It's been a while. I'd like to ask what are some of your favorite movies of all time?
Hey there Private. Pardon the late response. Yes it has been some time. Hope you're doing well :D
To answer your question: Ooof, that is a TOUGH one. Too many to name, to be honest XD But I guess if I have to name a few off the top of my head, it'd be:
Balto, Batman Forever, Rise of the Guardians, the Harry Potter films, 101 and 102 Dalmatians, Tangled, Princess and the Frog, Lilo and Stich (animated, not live action), The Lion King 1 and 2, Space Jam, the Hunger Game films (I haven't watched Songbirds and Snakes though but I plan to alongwith Sunrise on the Reaping once it's out), Coco, Puss in Boots The Last Wish, The Bad Guys, Zootopia ... ... and the list and can go on dude XD Like I said, it's way too long. But those are a couple of favourite all time movies.
Last year, I discovered the works of game artist Kirill Rua for the mobile game: The Bombard Game.
I was so enamoured by the art style that, naturally, I just HAD to try my hand at recreating my own rendition of an animated toon-style tank.
While the original art and animations were made with Spine2D, my tank is all 3D with the exception of the background elements which are 2D.
I also wanted to further grow my budding rigging skills with Maya so for this experiment, I also thought it would be cool to create colour variants of my tank that I can switch between on my rig.
Although you can’t really see it here or in my final animations, in my rig for the tank, there is a controller that will allow you to toggle between the different colours so all variants of the tank share the same animations regardless of the colour shift.
Overall, hope you all enjoy!

Hello! Have you read the latest Dandadan chapter? What are your thoughts about it? I hope I'm not bothering you...
Hello there anon-chan! Pardon the late response. And no, you’re not bothering me at all. Thank you very much for the question inbox.
To answer, yes I have read the latest Dandadan chapter. I’ve actually been following it closely and have been meaning to make a post discussing the current story development. But unfortunately, no time due to busyness with work and such.
Anyways, the most I will say on the subject of the latest chapter without getting into too much and going on a whole tirade is, I’m hoping that this current development will lead to Aira FINALLY making the realization that Okarun is genuinely in love with Momo and coming to terms with that so that she can let go of her crush on him and move on.
The same for Jiji; although I’ve never bought into the idea that Jiji has feelings for Momo. Even with how the last chapter ended, I still don’t see Jiji liking Momo beyond a friendship.
Especially since I’d like to believe that Jiji is fully aware of Momo’s true feelings for Okarun. Memory loss aside, I’d like to believe that if Momo tried to intiate anything romantic between her and Jiji in her crrent state, Jiji would set her straight.
Not just because of her current amnesia but also because Jiji knows that if Momo does have any feelings for him, it won't be true. That he, Jiji, isn’t the one Momo really likes. It’s Okarun.
It's ALWAYS BEEN OKARUN!
I know the current development has the makings of a (useless) love square by having the main pair shift feelings onto other characters when the audience knows they are inevitable (*coughs* like certain other shows have done).
However, after everything Tatsu-senpai has done for the growth of the ongoing love story between Momo and Okarun, I’m only expecting the Aira x Okarun and Momo x Jiji “date” switch up scenes to end with the deaths of the Momoji and Airakarun ships respectively.
I can only see this development ending with the Momokarun ship being fully cemented, now with the added knowledge and support of both Jiji AND Aira.
That and I also think Okarun is going to get kidnapped soon by the antagonists since he might unknowingly hold the Pinocchio Fairy Tale Card within him.
So we gotta have some big Momokarun development tease before that shit goes down.
That’s my prediction. But will see how things go for the next chapter when it comes out.
IT’S ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIVE!!!!!!
Alas, the Mimic has revealed its true form!!!
... Now ... I'm not an animator of any kind.
BUT last year I had a vision.
A vision of me creating a simple treasure mimic inspired by a cool illustration I found by another fantastic artist.
Beyond that, I also wanted my Mimic to come alive. I wanted it to get up, move and roar with fury! I imagined this Mimic as a video game character. Some kind of enemy the player would encounter on their journey in an RPG type of setting. With that thought in mind, I wanted to ALSO create a set of different sequences embodying how I would've imagined this mimic moving within a game. Just for fun.
I had all that in mind without having the slightest clue how I was going to accomplish it because like I said, I’m no animator.
HOWEVER; I AM a STUBBORN, OVERLY CURIOUS and CREATIVELY DETERMINED little squiggle with a couple of skills under my belt. And with those said skills, along with a couple more I gained during this pet project of mine, I made this!
Is it perfect? No.
Are there things I could’ve done better if I knew more about 3D rigging and animation as a whole? Of course.
Do I care about that right now? Nope.
Why? Because I woke up one day and decided I WANT TO MAKE A TREASURE CHEST MIMIC THAT ACTUALLY MOVES and just DID IT!
It took me some time to get it done but DAGNABBIT! I DID IT! Be proud of me please XD
Overall, I am SOOO HAPPY to see my lil guy finally up and moving and I hope you guys like him.
I know, I know! It been DONKEY YEARS since I last made a post to Tumblr. This squiggle meister became a very busy bee last year August which caused me to fall off of personal projects for some months.
But thankfully, as we’ve entered the new year, I’m aiming to hop back on the bandwagon.
This is a little project I started last year. You could say it’s inspired loosely by artist @imcertly Poser chest design. I had actually done my own 3D rendition of Certy’s design, if you guys recall (it’s on my page if you need a refresher). At first, I had planned to animate my Poser model but later opted to create my own treasure chest mimic under the same inspiration.
What you’re looking at here is Part One. A simple chest that hides not a treasure but monstrous secret within itself.
But fear not curious souls; the mimic will reveal its true form in time.
One of my creative goals for 2026 is to continue my exploration of 3D rigging and animation in Maya from a 2D/3D digital media perspective. I don’t consider myself an animator or even a rigger for that matter, but I find myself becoming more comfortable with the process and I’ve been enjoying learning the process and developing my own methods of doing things.
So even if I take my sweet time getting there, I hope you guys will still join me on ongoing creative journey as I take the plunge into a new territory. I may fall off the Insta/Tumblr wagon from time to time (especially as my overall relationship with social media is shifting as well); rest assure, this squiggle meister is ALWAYS cooking up something.
Stay tuned for the Awakened Mimic coming soon-ISH!
Some squiggly good accomplishments I achieved in 2025
Much like last year, I completed another year as a freelance 3D Artist for Foxie Games, who as of this year, now go by Foxie Games Pty Ltd. Come January 2026, it would be four years since I first started working with them and hoping to still keep going.
Similar to last year, I worked on more fun projects with the Foxie Team including my very first feature asset - a vampire themed fantasy horse which debuted alongside its werewolf counterpart (designed by another Foxie freelancer) in its own promo trailer for Halloween 2025.
Can't wait to add this beauty to my portfolio (along with a few others).
I did another freelance gig for a local company in my country. However, due to NDA restrictions, I won’t be able to share the fruits of that project until this coming year when it’s expected to come out. So I have that to look forward to going into 2026.
Got into rigging and 3D animation. This was a welcomed surprise since I always had reservations regarding rigging that kept my back from really getting into it.
But thanks to a small assignment for work at the start of the year, I was able to get over my previous qualms over rigging which later got me into animation. And for that I was able to produce some fun personal work for this year.
Hope to keep that up moving forward to next year.
And that's it. Gonna cap things off with what I considered to be my best piece of the year.
Normally, I'd just go with my favourite one but this year I had two pieces - two animations that I made this year that I loved and think best encapsulate my creative journey for 2025.
To close off my post, I hope everyone was able to enjoy their holidays. I hope 2025 was good for everyone and as always, wishing all of you budding squiggle meisters and fellow star kids all the best for the upcoming 2026.
Nothing but blessings in your respective lives and endeavors heading towards the new year!
Farewell 2025, see everybody for 2026!!! Let's go-go!
... So … about today’s new episode of Kamen Rider Zeztz. I watched it and I gotta say, I’m a little disappointed in Baku after today.
… Disappointed in Baku’s somewhat blind trust in Zero and by extension, CODE despite what Nox revealed to him last episode.
Despite Nox clearly spelling out for Baku that there is something very much dangerous about the Capsems, it doesn’t cause him to become distrustful or even a teensy bit suspicious of Zero or CODE as a whole.
I get that Nox didn’t really do himself much service by acting like a whole ass villain up until this point in the story. However; that being said, if I were in Baku’s shoes, I would immediately become at least a little skeptical of Zero following what Nox revealed about the Capsems and would immediately have questioned him for verification on anything NOX told him.
I’m kind of bothered at how willing Baku is to believe everything that ZERO has told him. I mean, yeah sure, he has technically known ZERO more than he has NOX. But still, the least he could’ve done was ask a question. At least ask about the true nature of the Capsems.
Where did they come from? How are they made?
Is NOX telling the truth about the Capsems containing Nightmares which would prove that Baku is using the power of Nightmares to fight other Nightmares. What truly happens to all the Nightmares that Baku banishes? Are they actually being destroyed or are they being harvested somewhere to be used by CODE?
Similar to the weirdness of Nem - with how everyone just seems to welcome her into their dreams without ever perceiving her as a threat, I feel there may be a similar weirdness with Baku and Zero.
Seriously, I’m stunned that Baku did not question Zero AT ALL about ANYTHING Nox told him about CODE or the Capsems. The most he did was mope about “failing his mission”. That’s it.
I’m just surprised. But imma let the Zeztz writers continue to cook with whatever mystery they have stewing there involved Nox’s origin with CODE.
Speaking of which, guess I was correct again regarding Nox. So I was correct in my hunch about NOX formerly being Baku’s predecessor who used to work for CODE in the past before he decided to go rogue for unknown reasons.
What I got wrong was NOX’s former agent number. Instead of being Agent No. 1, his number is actually 4.
Interesting, I’m assuming it’s 4 because just like the number 7- Baku’s number -, 4 is associated with luck. Y’know like four leaf clover which is a stable of good fortune.
This could be a potential pattern for any future agents that Baku encounters moving forward. Perhaps they’ll all have numbers that represent luck in some shape or form.
Although, in doing further research, I learned that the number 4 is actually considered to be unlucky in Japan due to its pronunciation “shi” being a homophone for the word “death” in Japanese.
Given how mysterious NOX is and how we’re unclear of what his full story is, this kind of fits.
Seriously, this story is getting more and more interesting with each episode. Mainly everything to do with NOX and what his deal with CODE is.
Not to mention, is ZERO to be trusted anymore???
I mean, we already got a small taste of suspicions with the last two episodes.
But his ultimatum to Minami, telling her that if she were to reveal the truth about what's going on with Baku to anyone else, he would dispose of her.
Zero ... WTF?
Way to have your audience go from viewing your friendly mentoring robot in disguise as an ally to a vicious and suspicious Decepticon is one scene, Zeztz.
I dunno WHAT to think of Zero now.
Shoot, for all I know, Zero might just be his own triple agent, infiltrating CODE, working his way through the ranks to become an important member, putting on the facade of being a loyal servant of CODE when in actuality; he does care about the agents that CODE supposedly sacrificed, according to NOX, and wants to help potential agents like Baku (and perhaps even NOX too) to stop CODE from harming other future agents; but without blowing his cover?
We can't have our spy/espionage themed Kamen Rider series without mention of at least ONE triple agent in the main cast. There has to be one, right?
And it might as well be Zero, given the mystery surrounding who he might actually be behind the robot face and body.
As I said in my last musing post, I don't know WHAT IS GOING ON IN ZEZTZ anymore.
But ... ... ... regardless of my confusion, imma let the Zeztz writers cook.
... Alright ... I am officially LOST on the plot of Zeztz ...
Not saying this to imply that I'm not enjoying the story. I am. I'm just ...confused.
I have tried to decipher what's REALLY going on, but the more I attempt to figure things out, the more confused I become with each new episodic mission.
The biggest contributor to my confusion is NOX. Because, as of today’s episode, NOX has me questioning whether or not AN Y of the information we have received regarding the lore of ZEZTZ is concrete. Particularly what we’ve heard from Zero thus far.
“Capsems are the power to make bad dreams come true! That is the real truth!”
... ... ... I’m sorry … ... ... WHAT?!
... ... ... Sir, what do you mean the Capsems are the power to make Nightmares become reality?!
I thought it was established that the Nightmares only become fully realized in the Waking world if Baku fails his mission; here-go fail to stop the Nightmare in the Dream World plaguing their respective Dreamer.
What EXACTLY is the implication here?
That instead of being the hero of the story, has Baku been the pawn of the true villains of the story from the jump? A.KA. CODE?
As mentioned by even Baku in the story, NOX has been working WITH the Nightmares as far as the story goes.
However in today’s mission, NOX revealed that there are actually Nightmares captured in the very Capsems that Baku has been using throughout the story so far.
Therefore, Baku has been using the power of Nightmares to combat and defeat other Nightmares?
This revelation is confusing me because I thought this entire time that the Capsems came from Baku.
In the KAMEN RIDER ZEZTZ: Transformation Classroom video on Youtube, ZERO described the Capsems as “dream energy” to aid Baku on his missions and make him stronger.
So silly me assumed that all the Capsems we’ve seen thus far were Capsems born from Baku’s own dream energy in a similar way to how last season with Gavv, the Gochizos that Shouma used as his power-ups and forms throughout the season were born from his Granute ability to produce his own army of minions from the different snacks he consumed and enjoyed.
So to have the Capsems actually be revealed as “captured Nightmares” is a cool twist I honestly did not anticipate.
It’s reminding me of Kamen Rider Blade where his his power-up cards - the Rouze cards - were derived from various enemies he defeated.
The thing is, Baku was never shown to actually be capturing the Nightmares. This made me notice something.
With ZEZTZ, whenever he banished a Nightmare in a past mission, the Nightmare would revert back to a butterfly and flutter away.
But with NOX KNIGHT, when he erased the Nightmare, the Nightmare actually faded away into dust.
Meaning there is a likelihood that the Barrier Nightmare that was captured in the Barrier Capsem is dead and there’s a possibility that Baku will never be able to use that form again. Maybe.
I’m not actually sure because now I’m curious as to where the Barrier Capsem came from. As a matter of fact, where did ALL of the Capsems that Baku has received and used thus far came from?
Because now the impression I’m getting is that CODE has been using its sleeper agents, like Baku, to target Nightmares produced by Dreamers to harvest the dream energy and turn them into Capsems.
Because CLEARLY, Baku hasn't been "killing" or stopping the Nightmares at all.
NOX says the Capsems hold the power to make bad dreams become true but … … … I thought the bad dreams only become true when Baku fails to stop a Nightmare from reaching its Dreamer’s final Mind Door and having their bad dream realized in the real world.
So at this point in the story, which character is telling Baku the truth? NOX has now said something to incriminate CODE and cause Baku to possibly distrust ZERO.
Obviously, it wouln't be too much of a stretch or twist to have the so-called “good organization claiming to be fighting to protect the world” be revealed to be evil.
It just makes me wonder what CODE is really up to. Are the Nightmares the actual victims and CODE are fighting for control of the Dream and Waking Worlds through the power of bad dreams?
Bruh, to me it made more sense in my mind when I simple thought that NOX was a former CODE agent who went rogue because CODE deceived him - making him believe he was fighting to protect others for the greater good when he was actually contributing to the creation of Nightmares and bad dreams coming true.
“It’s best if I’m the only one to have to go through bad dreams like that. I need to stop them. The Nightmares that run rampant in people’s dreams”
It would sting if Odaka, as a former CODE agent, thought he was fighting to protect humanity from Nightmares when in fact, the very organization he was working with - CODE - was not only the cause of the Nightmares but were also doing so as a means of turning the Nightmares into power that they can control?
And then deceiving dreamwalkers, turning them into Kamen Riders to aid them in capturing more Nightmares?
I could be misinterpretting things but this is how I’m looking at it, going off the theory that NOX was formerly recruited by CODE and used to be Baku’s precursor as Agent 0 1to his Agent 07.
This additionally makes me more curious about Nem’s role in all of this.
In the prison mission episode, it was revealed that NOX has Nem.
At first, I pegged NOX to be using Nem to create Nightmares.
There have been subtle hints that Nem may be connected to the Nightmares.
NOX’s cryptic comment about Nem continuing to “guide bad dreams” made me wonder if Nem is the source of the Nightmares, at least the source of the purple butterflies that we’ve seen enter people’s dreams and manifest into Nightmares.
I’m starting to wonder if NOX only abducted NEM to keep her away from CODE because he realized that, like Baku (and probably himself in the past) that Nem was also being used by CODE without her knowledge.
Remember, NEM is as much a present figure in the Dreamer’s dreams as the Nightmares and the thing that is not being questioned is why is that the case?
Why is no one finding it suspicious that Nem is just a mandatory part of not just their dream but the dreams of every citizen in the whole city; probably the whole world of Zeztz?
Doesn’t that not sound strange at all? Why is it that the Nightmares are considered a threat to the Dreamers but not NEM?
Another ZEZTZ fan pointed this out to me before in the comments of a post I had shared discussing NEM.
NEM seems to have this weirdly disarming effect on Dreamers.
The fact that this girl shows up in everybody’s dreams and NO ONE questions how weird that is is odd to me.
I’m waiting for the episode where someone calls out how strange it is that whenever a Nightmare shows up, Nem is also present in the dream.
She's even present in dreams where you would've expect her to show up.
I mean with Baku and Nem's manager/adoptive father, it made sense since a) Baku has a crush on Nem and b) Nem's manager loved her like a daughter. So it made sense for her to be in their dreams.
But what about everyone else like the cook or the VIP bride or the counterfeiter?
They don't have any connection to Nem yet there was, most present.
I think it's safe to say or at least theorize that NEM has something to do with the butterflies that go on to create Nightmares.
And I also think it's safe to say that NEM is being used by CODE who probably had an additional hand in why her career boomed so big to the point that her face is plastered everywhere over the city, even in people's dreams.
For now, these are all just hunches but little by little, the truth is being unravelled.
I'm still confused on what ACTUALLY going on in Zeztz but as I've mentioned in previous musings, the mystery within the story is part of the my overall enjoyment thus far.
So there’s currently talk in the Zeztz fan community surrounding the basis of why Nox refers to his rider form as a “knight” instead of a “rider” in light of his upcoming debut.
My hunch or easy assumption is that Nox isn’t called a “rider” due to the term's association with CODE.
In the Zeztz world, CODE seems to be this mysterious organization operating in the Realm between the Dream and Waking Worlds that recruits those who possess the ability to traverse dreams, like Baku, while providing them with the necessary training and tech to transform them into Kamen Riders to combat Nightmares - the one known threat to the Dream World and their respective Dreamers in the Waking World (as of now in the story).
I like the idea of Nox rejecting the term “rider” since he seems to have a vendetta against CODE.
Allegedly.
This is just my assumption for now given his comment about getting revenge after stealing the Invoker Driver; which I personally believe used to actually belong to Nox back when he was previously an agent of CODE.
I stand by my current theory where I think Nox is actually Baku’s senpai.
A fellow dreamwalker who was probably the very first agent that Zero ever recruited for CODE - Agent No.1.
I believe Nox used to previously fight the Nightmares for CODE as a Kamen Rider but then something happened for him to turn against CODE and now he’s helping the Nightmares instead.
I don’t think Nox stole the Invoker Driver from CODE. I think he simply took back what was already his.
The Drivers in Zeztz seem to be tailored to fit their designated rider.
Similar to how the Zeztz Driver was gifted to Baku, I think the Invoker Driver was once gifted to Nox back when he was Agent No.1.
But after he turned against CODE, he was striped of his original Driver and Capsem which were “frozen/petrified".
The only thing Nox managed to retain was the trademark orange and white gun-sword we see him wielding around and using to give Baku/Zeztz the shot through the heart.
The weapon even has the same petrification on it.
So yeah, I think; once upon a time, after Nox decided to go against CODE, they probably tried to take back his Rider gear by "freezing it" but Nox managed to escape with just the gun before it got fully frozen like his former Driver and Capsem.
That's my hunch.
I think once Baku brings Nox back to the side of good (however how) and he joins him as an ally, that’s when Nox will probably drop the whole Nox Knight mantle and change his name to Kamen Rider Yezz.
I could be wrong. I’ve heard through the fandom grapevine that “Yezz” was a misinterpretation BUT I personally don’t think so.
Yezz is almost too fitting to be a mere misdirect.
Yezz as a Rider title sounds like it was designed to complement Zeztz.
So yeah, I’d rather hold onto the idea of Nox Knight being a temporary placeholder while Nox is currently still a villain/villain rider.
But once he turns good and assumes his role as our secondary hero rider, then he’ll become Kamen Rider Yezz.
It’s a long shot since we rarely ever get a rider having one name and then changing it later to something else in Kamen Rider (that I know of).
But I’m sticking to this hunch for now since it makes the most sense to me.
The longer I watch Zeztz, the more I'm starting to question which character is actually a hero or a villain ...
And just to clarify, no, I’m not referring to Baku with this point. I’m more talking about Nox and Zero.
What if … as, the audience, we’ve been bamboozled and Nox isn’t exactly the threat or the one to distrust.
What if ... it’s Zero or just CODE in general.
"It's time for revenge"
Hearing Nox say this got me thinking.
In my experience, "villains" who wish to "get revenge" or "break down society" usually end up being revealed to be misunderstood people who were severely wronged by the far more dangerous forces with more power than them. Or something along those lines.
So hear me out.
We know that Baku’s agent number is 7, right?
But if Baku is number 7, does this mean there are other numbered agents who came before him?
And if there were, what if … Nox was one of them?
He did refer to himself as an agent like Baku in the last episode. I saw this image on Twitter.
This is actually quite clever. Nox’s agent name could also spell No. X.
X in Roman numerals is the the number 10.
This could essentially put Nox as the last agent in a roster 1 to 10, if we look at it that way.
However, get this - if you reverse the number 10, it spells 01.
That being said, what if...Nox was the first?
What if ... Nox was Agent 01 but he plans to be the last sleeper agent cause he plans on destroying CODE?
Since Nox seems to know more about the Dream World and Nightmares than Baku, what if. …Nox was Baku's predecessor?
What if … Nox was Agent 01 - the first "sleeper agent" to be recruited by CODE (and essentially Zero) BEFORE Baku?
Here I thought Nox STOLE the Invoker Driver from CODE but what if … the Invoker Driver was his to begin with?
Like it was his personal driver designed specifically for him back when he used to work for CODE, similar to how Baku started off.
However; once Nox went rogue after CODE probably wronged him or something, the driver was taken from him, frozen in the withered state we saw it in and hidden away under top secret until Nox retrieved it and used Baku’s Recovery Capsem to restore it back to original functionality?
Like I said before, if Baku is No 7, who are the other numbers? Where are agents 2 to 6 because I'm thinking Nox used to be Agent 01 before he became a whole ass villain.
Once more, my hunches about Nox keep changing with each episode. I really can't figure this guy out at all. But I guess simply coming up with theories around him is definitely endearing me more to the story of Zeztz as well as his character.
I feel like Zeztz is gonna be yet another Reiwa era Kamen Rider series where the secondary Rider will wind up being my persona; favourite for that season.
Don't get me wrong. So far, I am really liking Baku as our main series lead and Rider. But all the mystery surrounding Nox and his true motives is making me like him more and more.
Plus, i saw all the leaks for his Rider form. Already digging the LOOK of Kamen Rider Yezz or Nox Knight. Not sure what his really name will be but overall, I can’t wait for his official debut next episode.
Going back to my earlier hunch, if the concept of CODE showing up to turn those with the power of dream walking into riders is true ...perhaps this will also be the basis for our tertiery Rider introduction.
I heard a rumour that our tertiary Rider for Zeztz will be a female agent. Not Nem or Minami sadly but a whole new character.
Potentially played by the same actress who was Papillion Ohger in Ohsama Sentai Kingohger. And from the rumor image I glimpsed, it looked like this female agent will be dressed in the EXACT same fit as Baku's agent look.
Either something will happen to Baku at some point later in the story and this new female agent will rise up to become his replacement OR ... somewhere else , unbeknownst to Baku, our tertiary Rider is being trained in secret by CODE and Zero as a replacement should something bad happen to Baku or he goes rogue just like Nox or something.
That's my new hunch.
As always, I could be completely misinterpreting the plot once more and could potentially be wrong again in my theories. That much is a possibility.
For now, I'm still gonna leave it on the table. I will say this though. If I didn't have any reason to feel suspicious of Zero or CODE's intentions as an agency, I definitely do now after today's episode.
SOMETHING is definitely going on and little by little, we're getting closer to the truth.
So, as always with Zeztz, I'm looking forward to seeing more revelations and just enjoying the ride with this season.
Nope. I never got into Black Butler; anime nor manga.
I mean I KNOW about it in name being an anime fan for so long but the closest I’ve actually come to touching Black Butler is watching like one clip of a very misleading scene of Sebastian helping his “young master” put on like a corset or something and then … never watching any thing else from the series after that XD
I know BB is one of the more very popular anime series but like I said, I, sadly, never got into it.
So, just finished watching episodes 6 and 7 of Kamen Rider Zezetz back to back and I’m starting to notice a pattern ...
For every one episode of Zezetz I watch, this squiggly toku fan walks away with more questions than actual answers regarding the show's story.
Not a bad thing, by the way. It's just that Zezetz really is building up a knack for keeping it's watchful viewers guessing on what the absolute fudge is going on.
I will say this though. Now that I’m all caught up, as it turns out ---
... I WAS RIGHT ABOUT NEM!!!
... Well … somewhat right.
I was justified in my suspicions of Nem regarding whether she had an actual physical form in the Waking World.
As revealed by the last two episodes, it turns out that not only is Nem missing. But she’s missing and currently in a coma, being held “captive” by Nox, who seems to be using her to create Nightmares?
I think?
" ... Continue guiding these bad dreams, Nem ..."
So those violet butterflies we keep seeing throughout the series every time the Nightmares appear. Here I thought those little guys were produced by Nox.
But based off the ending of the seventh episode, it seems like the butterflies are actually from Nem and Nox just uses them to his advantage to create the Nightmares.
Now THAT is interesting!
I really, really like this twist. Wasn't expecting it so good job on the show writers for it.
That being said; it wouldn’t shock me one bit if Nem’s whole accident and kidnapping was actually staged by Nox.
I mean, he did stage Baku’s accident and hospital attack in the first episode so him being the cause of Nem’s isn’t much of a stretch.
So … does this mean that Nem is actually trapped in her Nightmare and that’s why she hasn’t regained consciousness. I know they mentioned her being in a coma as as result of the car crash. But it’s also been stated in the series lore that a Dreamer will fall into an eternal slumber of their Nightmare comes true or something like that?
We SAW that Nem was asleep in the car with Mr. Bojimi before the truck hit them. So perhaps I’m mistaken.
What if … Nem subconsciously caused her own accident as a result of Nox targeting her with a Nightmare?
And now, Nem herself, is trapped in an eternal Nightmare as Nox uses her to produce more Nightmares for him to control to spread his Nightmare contagion?
So does that mean that Nem is already a Nightmare and Baku will eventually have to face her Nightmare form in order to bring her true self back to the Waking World?
Yeah ... that sounds plausible, right?
I don’t know if this was the show’s intention or not but this final shot from Episode 7 of Nem unconscious in what looks to be like some kind of castle room that Nox has her hidden in is giving me Sleeping Beauty vibes.
The real Nem is now basically like a princess imprisoned by a Dark Wizard (Nox) trapped inside his evil castle, guarded by fearsome monsters (Nightmares) waiting for her knight in shining armor (Baku/Zezetz) to come free her.
I mean … it would make sense. But still, so many questions left unanswered.
“ … Some day, you’ll learn the price of that power …”
This is what Nox said about Baku after he defeated the Prison Nightmare. But what does he mean by that?
Surely, there is a deeper connection between Baku, Nox and Nem. From what we’ve seen so far in the story. All three of them possess the power of lucid dreaming - that’s what Nox mentioned to Baku.
But what does that MEAN though?
Another thing that has me super confused is the true identity and motives of Nox.
I still wish to hold onto my hunch that he’s secretly Nem’s older brother (so the two have a sibling connection parallel to Baku and Minami) and the reason he staged Nem’s accident was all so he could get her back in his "custody".
WHY he seems to be using Nem's "powers over the Dream World" to break down society through the power of Dreams and Nightmares is where my brain is in a tizzy.
Originally, I pegged Nem to be Nox's motive.
Y'know ... like he's doing all this FOR Nem. Basically taking his revenge on a world that seemed to have turn its back on him all while exploiting his "beloved little sister" for its own gain.
That's what I THOUGHT PRE- EPISODES 6 AND 7.
But now after seeing that, not only does Nox actually have Nem in HIS POSSESSION but HE is actually is the one exploiting her, now I'm like ...
" ... Alright Zezetz, ya got me!
Thou art stupified!
That's what I get for using my brain while watching Kamen Rider again.
I have gone RIGHT BACK to not knowing WHAT THE HELL is going on in Zezetz...until the next episode ..."
Despite speed running through some of these plot reveals, I will say that Zezetz has been doing a phenomenal job of keeping me invested in the overall story because of all the mysteries surrounding certain characters like Nem and Nox.
I have sooo many questions. But hey, I guess the confusion is part of the fun.
What if ... Okarun confessing his love for Momo AGAIN is the emotional grenade that is needed to spark Momo regaining her memories?
Think about it ...
Remember how the first episode/chapter of DanDaDan concluded with Momo feeling that first spark of "feelings" toward Okarun?
Maybe that's what we need.
If Okarun just tells Momo he loves her and actually calls her by her NAME for the first time in the series, maybe that will jumpstart Momo's heart and trigger all the feelings and memories to come flowing back.
Because while Momo's mind may have forgotten, her heart hasn't.
There is STILL a part of Momo that remembers. Her memories aren't actually gone. They're just locked away. Possibly within her heart.
And Okarun has the key.
Seriously Troll-atsu made such a big deal out of Okarun being the one to REACH OUT and TALK to Momo in this recent chapter.
Momo has always been the one to truly initiate things between her and Okarun and be the one to REACH OUT.
So having Okarun be the one to make the effort this rounds is the perfect development to commence the next stage in their relationship (in my opinion).
Since Momo has been the one to be the main instigator behind her and Okarun's budding relationship, it provided moments for Okarun to learn more about Momo - such as meeting her friends and close family.
But what about Okarun? Despite being together for this long, Momo STILL doesn't really know anything about Okarun's life. While we know he's a loner at school, what about this home life?
Where are Okarun's parents? Does he have parents? If not, who are his family?
This is a chance for Okarun to FINALLY open up more to Momo and share more about himself with her.
That being said; yeah I really, REALLY think Momokarun Love Confession Part II is the key to restoring Momo's memories.
They'll probably introduce some new type of paranormal/alien McGuffin that our heroes will have to collect/protect for this new arc that could potentially help Momo.
But in the interim while all that is happening, we'll probably see scenes/moments of Okarun sharing more of himself with Momo in ways he didn't do before.
Not only will all of it reinforce Okarun's love for Momo but will probably feed the feelings she already had for him that are still there.
But I think the real key is Okarun simply saying
" ... Miss Ayase ... No. Momo-chan, I love you." Or "I love you Momo."
I think that's the CURE.
LOVE is the remedy.
Okarun's LOVE for Momo is what will bring her back.
I could be wrong but how now, that's my main assumption.
Ooooh shit about to get good, good, GOOD in DanDanDan now ...
I don’t know how exactly Okarun plans to help Momo regain her memories but just seeing his determined expression alone during the ending panel to the last manga chapter is all the evidence I need to REAFFIRM my faith in Yukinobu Tatsu that things are only going to get BETTER from here.
I’m saddened to hear that there were actually folks who legit dropped the series due to the current Lost Memories Arc.
Saddened, shocked and ... CONFUSED because I thought Tatsu’s track record; golden as Okarun’s Kintama;’ up until his point in the series would’ve been enough to reassure people that the story is still in good hands despite this current twist.
How many times has Tatsu introduced a twist into the story; making fans make obscure assumptions only to Uno reverse and subvert said expectations with something really, really finger-licking GOOD?
Shoot, he’s been doing that since the START of the series with EVERY SINGLE ARC.
When DanDaDan first started and introduced Momo and Okarun as our two main leads---
Expectation: Another typical run of the mill shounen battle anime where the main female lead is ass compared to the main male lead and any romance between them would be either nonexistent or stupidly/annoying/tiresomely one-sided.
What we ACTUALLY Got: A series where the main female lead is actually good. LIKE REALLY GOOD. I love Momo ya’ll. Not only is she extremely strong-willed but she’s also as incredibly competent as she is compassionate.
Despite Okarun being the “nerd” of the two, turns out, Momo is as just as much of a nerd as Okarun because she too is very smart and knowledgeable; despite her Gyaru “cool girl” aesthetic.
In different hands, Momo might’ve been written as a pretty dumbass designed purely for fan-service to be a trophy or constant “damsel” to be saved by our main male lead despite having her own potential.
Thank God, Tatsu wrote Momo as a good character (Not just her either. All the DanDaDan girls are pretty well-written, in my opinion).
And guess what else? There is actually a REAL LEGIT ROMANCE brewing in the series that one might say is practically a major plot point of DanDaDan. I’ve said it time and time again, DanDanDan is a shoujo romance in shounen battle anime skin.
Because while the cool action and fights are awesome for spectacle (especially in the anime), the true soul and beating heart of the series are the relationships between its main cast of characters. The friendships. The family dynamic and of course, the budding love story between our two main leads.
And what’s even better --- the extra cherry on top --- is that the love story slowly growing between Okarun and Momo is MUTUAL!
There is ABSOLUTELY NO DENYING that Okarun and Momo have mutual romantic interest in one one another and ABSOLUTELY WILL BE ENDGAME.
Unlike OTHER shounen anime that either have zero romance, shitty toxic romances or God forbid annoying one-sided ass romances that trap us shippers in “Will they, won’t they” hell for most of the series or even worst than that, make us care about a relationship for most of the series only to have characters end up with other characters in the end that they barely interacted with/never interacted with.
If you’ve ever been a shipper in a shounen anime fandom, then YOU KNOW the struggle of the scraps we often get. DanDaDan, fortunately, doesn’t do that.
From the jump, as early as EPISODE/CHAPTER ONE, WE KNOW INSTANTLY that Okarun and Momo like each other. It was that way in the first chapter and it has been that way through and through with each chapter and arc only expanding upon and strengthening the relationship; making it more and more enjoyable to watch blossom.
Dunno about ya’ll but this squiggle meister loves me a well-written love story, even if it’s a slow burn.
And what makes the Momokarun ship so refreshing is that despite it’s slow burn, their development is at the forefront. It's as important to the story as everything else.
Every arc, the writer drops little nuggets that show that the ship is growing with every new story that pops up.
Every new adventure.
Every new challenge.
Shoot, every new character, villain or potential ally, who arrive to a contest the pair, only serve to make it stronger and further affirm that these two kids - Momo and Okarun - are meant to be.
SO WHY ARE PEOPLE DOUBTING?!!
Seriously? Why are people dropping the series?
I know everyone got mad at the whole Momo amnesia thing after ALL that development of the previous arcs (and trust me, I was to) but … … … Tatsu has ALWAYS come through!
If you’ve been reading DanDaDan from the jump, then you should know by now that every now and again, generally for every new arc, that Tatsu likes to heat things up and throw a little spice into the dish.
The taste might be a jarring at first but he always comes through with delivering a story that is so delicious to read that it’s literally *chef’s kiss*
JUST LET HIM COOK!
If anything, I’m more nervous for just how GOOD this next arc is going to be.
The payoff of Okarun not only helping Momo regain her memories but also confessing his feelings for her over again, like he promised, and that leading into Momo FINALLY returning his feelings is going to be SO MAGICALLY SATISFYING.
This is NOT me being a delulu shipper.
Ya’ll know as well as I that that WILL be what’s more likely to happen.
It’s gonna take us some more chapters to get there but, WE WILL GET THERE. Trust!
And when we do, ya’ll non-believers will be kicking your own butts for ever doubting the trolling-ass brilliance of Yukinobu Tatsu.
Also, on a different topic - I noticed that the recent chapters only confirmed Momo losing her memories. But what about Umbrella Boy?
What about Zuma and the old man kid? They too were deeply affected by the Fairy Tale Card Curse.
So does this mean that they are also back to normal now too but don’t have any memories either?
I guess we’ll see moving forward.
In the meantime, to conclude -
To my fellow Momokarun shippers who are still here, LOCK IN ya’ll!
Troll-atsu is taking us on another roller-coaster ride.
I was a huge fan of your blog back when Volume 6-8 of RWBY released and I would read all your RoseGarden posts. Recently got back to RWBY binge watched the entire show and fell in love with RoseGarden all over again and remembered your blog (took a lot of digging to find you again).
Hope you are well and okay😊🎀
🌱🌹
Also, RWBY V10 might release in about 2-3 more years (I'm sure) can't wait to read more of your posts and theories 🌸🥰

Hi there BubbleCloudz!
Aww shucks, thank you so much! I’ve been well, thanks for asking and hope the same for you m’fam. Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed my RWBY content; specifically my old Rosegarden stuff. Happy you able to find this squiggle meister in the sea of RWBY fan theorists and other Rosegardeners XD
Not sure if you’re aware of the news but apparently a couple months back over on Twitter, Kerry Shawcross had released a video saying that RWBY V10 is “in development”. Still no official confirmation on it being greenlit for production.
But if its in development then the hope is that the development is to pitch V10 to Viz in order to receive funding/budget for that season and any others beyond.
So you’re right, we probably might not get more RWBY for another 2-3 years, give or take. If we’re lucky.
If I’m being completely honest, my overall interest in RWBY has simmered down/fizzled out these days thanks to the long hiatus. I’m currently focused on other fandoms that I enjoy. But the day when RWBY does return, I’ll definitely be seated to see where the story goes next. Especially for the Rosegarden pair.
So until that time comes, again a big hearty thanks for enjoying my content m’fam!
